Depends on who else is in the pot...

If im last to act and there are a few limpers and there is a loose player on the table, ill normally chuck in a strong raise hoping to bring it to heads up and get paid that way.

If im in a tight game, I like to limp with them and look at a flop, If you hit your set, ride it all the way to the bank and hope some nasty flush or 1 card straight doesnt show its face...

it depens on your position, if you are in a late position and there are a lot of limpers just shove them all in and hope you get only 1 caller,if you are utg limp and hope there is a raise then reraise to alin.
if you are in midle position and there are some limpers then raise 7 or 8 times the BB.
thats the way i play them Smile
its long time ago that i got AA Smile

If you still don't know how to play aces, after reading the threads and polls about playing aces and kings from today, simply fold the hand preflop. Big Smile

It never happened to me. I usually go all in because i started to get sick of being dumped from a tourney by a three of kind deuces. But, being the first hand of the tourney, i think i would give it a try and make slow play, with mini raise or something like that.

yes the position ans style of the table is important. On Loose table i raise on alls positions, and after flop its possible to slow play if the board is not so dangerous to let the loose player bet, than i re-raise.
But on tight table, i think i need to play a different strategy to be sure to get money, and this is the position to decide what i need to do.
start position: I make a limp in, i let another player raise for me and i just call. If nobody raise i must prepare me to fold if the board is too dangerous.
Middle position; i raise like i had AK or AQ, because not enough player after me to be sure they gonna be raise, and i dont want to let the big blind hit something with 42 :/
End position: thats depend what is happen before me, slow play if there is just one player before me, and make a strong raise if there are too much player.

AA must be slow played if this is a heads up situation. if its not, AA must raise or re-raise to make fold all middles hands

Assume that you have good position, final position or dealer,

1. You think you should go all in directly?

2. Make a raise?

3. Call and wait for the flop and hope they dont hit a hand which beats yours?

But this is a copy and paste of my poll? LOL

and always the same question of aces? : O

Aww crap! Aww crap! Aww crap!

Isn't this a duplicated poll? I would say yes, so didn't vote on this.

make a raise and play along raising it as it goes..
making an all in in the first round just scare off and limits the pot i guess
if people have throw a few raise or call in 2 or 3 rounds, when you go all in, they are left with to go or fold.. that's probably when you 'catch' them..

Now the polls are just being abused, I would be interested to see what admin does about this in the future Confused Confused

Good point racpxt
