bad call?  0
early stage of a don blinds 10/20

you get AcQc

MP raises to 80, you call, button calls, both blinds folds

you get the nutflushdraw on flop with 9c-10c-7x

MP1 bet 200 - you call 200
button raise to 1360 ( all in)
MP1 raise 60 to 1420 ( all in)

Pot 3450

do you put in your last 1210 chips for this flushdraw with 2 overcards

you get back 4660 for risk 1210 and you have ~46% winning chance( controlled with odds calculator)

is the call a bad move however?

Yes it is a bad call. Youve a 54 % chance of being knocked from a double or nothing. Of course you fold, If it wasnt a Don the its a call alrite but for a Don its a defo fold

I voted yes by mistake I think .You've 2 different questions "would you call? " and "bad call?" which contradict eachother. Smile

its a low flop, the max he can have is a A10, which puts him in front but the odds are on your side. Perhaps its a bit risky to think this way in a begining level of an MTT, but i would give the call.

In a regular its more tempting to call this one, in a DoN its an absolute no Smile

Edit: Very good question btw Thumbs Up

Not now.
Nor should you call the rais pre, you should raise it up.
id allso probably be re-raising the flop aswell.
Id only be calling from this situation unless I had nut flush draw and open edn str8 draw.

Why do we play the hand in a DoN in the first place? Muck it preflop.
After the flop being in a sandwich sucks. This hand proofs it again.
We have the odds to call, and in a cash game or a normal tourney it would be an easy call. But DoNs are another type of animal.

U know the DoNs pretty well, not intrested in building a steady roll thru DoNs?

i would probably call and take the risk because at late stage of a don turbo you sometimes need to take a higher risk with much less odds .

Thumbs Up in this spot yes but i usually dont have to take such decisions in a don as i usually play like shokaku tells..
maybe the beat before on other table pushed me on tilt ( KK lost vs 99 on river)

I think ill follow the advice of an expert Blink
so its a no ! (and indeed, good to take risk when the ratio of winning really increase with position : i mean if first get really more money, good to take more risk to reach this place. Otherwise, no need to risk, so you fold Blink

I don't think that it is worth it, as there are two all ins already so probably someone has his straight already made and your over cards would be no good. Fold

+1 to both remarks. This is a DoN, you dont really need to accumulate chips, you want to survive
and yes, a very good question as it makes you really think. I wish more polls were around questions like this one instead of inane situations
