Ever since I started playing poker I have tried and tried to get anything close to a bankroll going.on pokerstars But to no avail.. I would win a few cents in a freeroll and lose it playing the 360 man $0.10 SNGs.
Well I won 30 cents in a freeroll on PS today, so feeling really daring, I entered one of those SNGs.
I managed to cash for 40 cents. WEEEE result
I then do another two, cash in one for $.30 and then finish 3rd in the next for $4
So I now have over $4
I enter the 10 cent MTT and cash for $1.40
Over $5..
You with me so far.
Feeling daring I enter a $1.10 MTT and through sheer dogged skill and determination I manage to get past over 6000 people and I cash for $9
So now I am sat on $14 and things are looking rosy.
Feeling very daring, and completely ignoring every rule of Bankroll management, I enter a $4.40 MTT with over 800 runners. Top 153 get paid. I cash for $37 in 15th place.
I now have $46 and its looking quite sweet.
I then set about some $1 DONs and manage to cash in 8 out of 111 meaning I have over $50 in my PS account. I've just cracked a forum colleague in a $5 HU match so with over $60 now in my PS account I am well on the way to starting a proper bankroll..
Congratulations and be careful managing your bankroll. Often, after winning, we thought we can win anything and usually lose all the money we have won with so much effort

I had a story quite like that in stars. I won 30 cents in a freeroll, then i entered the 0.25$ 90 people sit&go, and got a second place, cashing about 4 $. Then i entered a 3.30$ razz tournament with 80 people and won it, and cashed 58.80$.

Oh my god, so many cashes in MTT's, thats very nice guy ! keep it up, but now, if you want to keep your bankroll, you should be careful to bankroll managment
That's totally awsome, keep up the good job and keep us posted. Maybe you can either keep this thread or start a new one that will inform us of your progress as you make your bankroll grow.
i thought you owned and ran a poker forum?? doesnt it pay alot? are you skint? just wundering was this a task? you say you couldnt start a proper bankroll ? why couldnt you deposit? this storey seems to be a bit fishy

Thats cool. well done that is some achivement for sure. Its defo not easy to freeroll a bankroll. Keep us all posted or we'll think its just a flook...lol

well done, its really difficult to start from freerolls to build a bankroll gud enough to start playing, more so at a site like pokerstars with so many people in freerolls. gl and don't let that rocket bust

the money I make off the site goes towards the upleep of the site, and to run freerolls, or give people prizes. that is kept totally seperate from my playing money.. God forbid I'd use that money for poker... I'd have fun but I wouldnt have a cent left.
I was actually gonna deposit, but decided against it once I got to over $10. Then it became a challenge to see how I could do..
And though I say so myself, I am not doing too bad..
