I have been wondering what ppl think of Gus Hansen. If other poker players think he is a fish luckbox or just really good at knowing what card is going to peal off next?
No. If I had his money and people thought I was a fish I wouldn't give a damn anyway. His style works for him. He is a pro player and makes lots of money and a good living at it. Until anyone is above him they can't say he is one, or unless he goes broke.

Fish seems too much offensive for a player like him; of course he likes pushing and gambling but he always has a project in mind; sometimes he loses in bad way but I think he's a very strong player

exactly. I wouldn't say he's a fish, I 'd say he's overly aggressive in bad spots, but not a fish

Agressive and (sometime) gambler as some said, that might sometime seems fishy, but seeing his performing, i dont think you can say its a fish ! Maybe you can say he is not a pro (what i dont think, for me, he is a pro), but not a fish ! because a fish is a pure idiot that can't make any money with poker since he never improve his game and just gamble all the time.

it depends on your definition for fish. if a fish is a player who loses money than he is (definitly for onlinepoker, but maybe he wins live, we don't know if he wins there and we don't know against what kind of players he plays live. i could imagine the games are softer in livepoker, as there are more typical casino highrollers.) if a fish is a bad player, i would say no, he is just not as good as some other guys on the highest stakes.

I ve seen a lot of gus hansen playing and he is probably a fish. He likes to see a lot of flop. And sure can you afford it it is a good way to play poker
he should stick to tournaments and simply avoid the online nosebleed games, hes just not a cashgame player, imo. gus is a fish, but only compared to other players like pa, durrrrrrrr, ivey etc...
he does this "i cant fold my hand, even though im probably beaten after turn" s**t too often... just my opinion...

Gushave to work hard on his game lol and get some realism into his game a chance, it does not count on it, its genius is to limit the touch of madness but is always the result of an analysis framed well
