Interesting. Ill say yes, only if the threads of this forum does not appears in your home page. I mean, you go check what's on the stupid section if u want, but you don't get spammed by all the stupid thread titles ^^

Good idea. The polls system has been abused so bad that I quit even making polls. I have made some in the past for fun just to change it up, but when people start copy/pasting and changing KK to AA just for points, that's kind of taking advantage of the voting/point sysytem and BRM. The poll section could be changed to "Polls/Off Topic" or something like that where no points are even involved. It would separate the junk/garbage from the poker stuff that is more important. Then the main part of BRM would be back to poker related issues such as strategy, tips, etc. which I feel is more important and would also change for the better. It would also change my spirits for the better since I wouldn't get so frustrated having to dig thru trash to find anything halfway decent. If anyone agrees or disagrees with some of these points I've made please feel free to say so. But if you could, open it up in a new thread because of all the smileys it won't get the attention it deserves. Most people whos' opinions actually matter have already opened this thread and won't reopen it to read this.

I fully agree; let the Off Topic/ Polls / Stupid Section only show on the Mob Account Page and dont't give points for the Stupid Section. Admin, do you have an opion already?
Edit: How about making 2 polls per week max? Some guys here make a poll as soon as they get up, and THEN have breakfast

1 point or no points, either option is better than 5. Which really stinks because it was 10 before the abuse started. I would lean more toward "0." The one thing I did notice admin, when I click on "FORUM" from the header of this page it blends all the threads together. Which is what I was doing and blowing a gasket digging thru the trash. But when I click "FORUMS" on the body, then it separates everything into it's categories. So I know what to do to get around all the BS, but it would be easier to make it the same function on the header as the body. I am only mentioning this for people that are checking out the site. (Since that is the first button to push)

who will decide what is a stupid poll and what is not , i don't want to be judge in such matter . what for you sounds stupid is maybe for other very interesting , it's not a good idea at all , some people are gay , some are bi while most of us are straight . you have winners and losers , you have all kind of people with a high IQ and with a low IQ . do we need to discriminate the people with a low IQ and punish the people with a high IQ ? Don't think so , it's the same story with dunotra and with flangel , they got banned for different reasons , i don't care what has happends with them but i regret that it has happends because off other BRM-ers influence and judgements and such thing is not good at all no matter what the "crime" was .

Maybe give five points only when there is at least 10 people giving a to the thread (then only polls that people thought to be very interesting will give points....) or something like that
