Is it given wich Cards flop?  0
Hi everbody,

maybe this is a stupid question but i have to ask:

We all know that, we playin online poker, we get a crappy hand like 3K or something, ofc we fold this hand and at the flop comes 33K.

What i want to know is, would this cards come up anyway or does it depends on how many players fold/call, how much is a raise and all that stuff...

Thanks for ur help and sorry for my bad english..

Interesting question. I wish I could answer with some authority but I believe that the actions of players doesn't directly effect the community cards that are dealt. Although I have heard that it is impossible to deal cards 100% random, I know that poker rooms try to make all cards as random as possible and that the order the cards are dealt should not effect the cards that are yet to be dealt.
Obviously once a card has been dealt to someone's hole cards it cannot reappear in the community cards but all the cards that have not yet been dealt should have an equal chance of coming on the flop.
However I wonder whether the community cards are determined at the start of the hand regardless of whether a flop will be seen or not or if the flop, turn and river are only selected after the previous stage is completed. In this case the cards would be selected in the fraction of a second that they are required and therefore any second in delay would effect the cards yet to come.
What I am saying is if all the cards are not determined in one moment, then the actions of players may effect the deal indirectly, although no player could possibly slow down or change his action in any way to influence the hand in his favour.
I suspect that all cards are determined before the hand starts regardless of whether they will be needed but even if they are not you could still say that the game is fair since no player has an advantage over the other. Importantly folding, calling or raising with K3 will not make the flop more or less likely to come K33.

It is completely random.

Also what most people dont realise is that the cards are re-shuffled after each card is laid on the board. So its not like a real poker game where the cards are shuffled and aftewards how they lie in the deck is how they are laid on the table.

In online poker after the top card is taken off and put into play the cards are then shuffled again. Also there is no burn cards in online poker.

If this is true, then my point from earlier stands. Changing the actions of players will have an effect on the cards. If every time a RNG is used it gives a different independent card sequence, then it would most likely deal a different card at 10:15:02 than at 10:15:03. So if I call a bet a second later than I was planning to, a different deal will occur. That's not to say a certain card is any more likely to come if I wait to call a few more seconds but it is nonetheless a fact if I made my move sooner a different flop is likely to have transpired. Once more I would point out that this does not make the hand any less random or give anyone any advantage.

the only reason for burnned cards is for u do not see the any mark at the next card.
in online poker burnned cards do not make ense as electronic cards don't get any usage marks
