would you change the field too if you get the unlucky streak?

i take a look back on the past games and what i´ve seen is this: i usually let the others make the (big) mistakes and tried to do only the small mistakes on my own - this worked well on my downswing i made this too, but the mistakes of the others were smaller than mine or the mistakes ( like a very strange all-in call) turned into a lucky win for them
hows a 9 person don work? after 4 and a half ppl go out u double ur money? lol? seen 6 and 10 but no

I would take some break and start playing at a bit lower stakes games as I think I should get some of my confidence back that luck is not against me all the time.
There are times with bad and good luck. When I have bad luck I just give myself a little break from poker. It is not like I am waiting to bad luck being gone, but when u are loosing couple of games in the row, you become more nervous and play with emotion and poker needs calm and patience.

Posted by Fakiry: I think you should continue playing the same field so you gain even more experience. You have some ups and downs in your graphic, but maybe they are also related with other factors, external to poker. Once in a while, just to relax, you should play other things, but in terms of real dedication, let yourself be where you are, its the best way to upgrade and continue the way to big poker money!
I think that way too dont loose confidence and be strong GL
Sometimes making yourself a break from SnGs is a good idea. Play a lil' bit at the cash tables, maybe a few MTTs, clear your mind... I'm sure that if you were winning DoNs constantly you'll be able to come back and grow your bankroll again. Good luck!

Change the game. DoN aren't too demanding, and you won't make any progress in your skill at all. And if you're loosing even in the DoNs... That's obvious there's something wrong with your game.
Posted by doomdy: Argh if u have a downstreak off 1 year in DoNs u defffo do sometin wrong here (no offend). Try find for leaks in the DoNs cos playin properly i guess even a downstreak off 1 month is hard to do on DoNs.
Goodluck
very true doomdy,
my downstreak is losing 3 games on the trot at DoNs but then i bounce back with 5 or 6 wins

It is dons and 9 man sngs what he said, not that he was playing 9 man dons. If ur all that stupid and immature to understand it, then pls dont open your mouth, took me 10 mins to read thru all those whining threads about whats a 9man don bla bla bla . Give some advice instead.
imo - if you split the 100 games to 50/50 dons and 9 seater sngs then theres some leak in your game. You cant lose that much if you have focused especiallly on those games. I suggest look thru your hh. Changeing the field is not an option, because if you like to play dons and sng then sooner or later you are back at those games..

Limit is very different from no limit. You should only play limit with experts, or you will find a table where everyone bets the max. Of course that can also be a strategic play from your oponents, but its so annoying i just cant play that type of poker. But if you are winning, why quiting it? Play it, good luck for you!
