What's your strenght  +6
Hi guys, here im creating a little poll to know what is your biggest strenght in poker (live or online).

here it is :
1. Your bankroll managment is solid. Like a soldier, you just strictly respect all the rules and never let tilt takes you. Your graph looks like the function y=x .

2. You learn fast and know a huge amount of theory ! You have an entire library with poker books.

3. You have a damn good feeling. You don't really know how to explain it, but well you just make often amazing reads/fold/bluff and that's profitable for you.

4. You have no problem to manage many informations in the same time, what helps you to analyze really fast situations. It makes you a good multitabler too.

5. You have bowls ! you are not effraid to push all in for a bluff and, well you are not affect by the "scared money" syndrome (means that your game is not affected by the stress to lose your money, for example when you play on a higher limit)

6. Your patience is legendary. You can be card dead for more than hundred years, you'll still be able to wait your aces, cool and relax.

7. Like a Ninja, Your game is so unpredictable that your opponents are always lost, they dont know what to do and you like to hear them cry Evil

8. You are just a f**** luckbox. That's it, you can call for 1 out, most time, you hit it. Just incredible!

9. You are THE God of Poker : all the last suggestions in the same time are just representing your exact game ! (even Phil Ivey looks crap next to you Confused )

I know that most will say its a combination of several suggestions, but well, try to find really what's YOUR strenght !
I personnally chose the 4th, because i like strategy games since i'm a child, so im just trained to managed an analyze many informations in the same time. Only thing is that im maybe not a so good multitabler (maximum 2-3 sng's in the same time. 9 tables in cash game... but with SSStrategy Tongue Tongue so its easy)

I see me a lot on first 2 options. Since I try to read as many as I can about the game, book, article, strategy/hands forum posts, etc... #2 was an obvious choice.

2,3 and 4 are for me...
and my bankroll management is not bad at all...

im good at multitabling and making fast decicions based on what i see and what i suspect mainly bcuz i played Starcraft in a high level for almost 7 years, when u had 300 actions per minute, playing 12-15 tables is easy...
i learn really fast when i like what i am studying.
and i have the "feeling" because of mass playing for the last year.

Looks like Bertrand Grospellier (as known as "Elky", if u played 7 years starcraft, you must know him). He is now one of the best french poker player. But look how he was when he was a starcraft champion and not yet a poker player, so sunny : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iXwlyrjJjPc

haha, ofc i know ElkY, the first time i saw him was about 2002 (?) for the WCG, he had a really funny hair style... he and Guillaume Patry (PlayGrrrr) were some kind of super stars for the foreign community back then (by foreign i mean not korean).

actually i got into poker because of starcraft, somebody told me that old starcraft players were making really big money playing poker and it was completly truth.. just for name some players that you may know. Hevad Khan, well ElkY, Guillaume Patry (made an APPT final table) , Rekrul (he won the 2007 WSOP HU 10k event)
i really think that starcraft players can make it big in online poker because they are used to spend a lot of time in front of their Computers practicing with a really high level of focus. and they have the stamina to play LONG sesions non stop.

Thumbs Up

I'd rather play for fun (but sometimes win Big Smile ), so I can't say that I'm the 7 or 9, example Big Smile
But I'm not 8, I'm sure about this Big Smile Because: 1, I just play good cards and play in good situations, but... 2, ...but if I go tilt sometimes I always lose, don't get luck, so I can't be kinda 8 Big Smile

I'd probably have said patience a couple of days ago, but being 2 outered almost 3 or 4 times in -5BI session a couple of days ago really REALLY had me losing my cool lol. Luckily, i practice pretty strict BRM... so i'd have to say thats atleast one good thing i got going for me right now Thumbs Up

Starcraft is good game, but im tired of losing in it so its kinda like poker. And like in poker, enemy seems always to be one step ahead of me. And one more similarity - i run out of resources and enemy takes over
