Boring, maybe, but he's probably the guy I DON'T want to face. He must be profitable as hell

some time ago i was reading a blog of this guy who got into a televised table with lederer, he said that howard was the kind of player who doesnt talk to "non-pro players" at the table, he also said that lederer is really good sensing weakness preflop.
imo is a really boring player to watch, he thinks he is so much better than he really is...

Very solid player. Easy to bluff. Has the nuts otherwise fold most of the times. Don´t like to watch him. Have to see Lederer vs Dwan in HSP. AK vs 8_4 or 8_6. Amazing

I like him. He is not the most entertaining guy to watch, like D.Negreanu, or P.Hellmuth, but he does what pokerplayers should do - earn money, and he's doing it well!

agree
just he play slow and not fun poker game use only very good hands combine and never be on risking way so no risking no fun off watch so its makes some poker play boring to watch so we more like and love to watch young players who can play more risking cards and use some more hand combines
howard lederer is actually one of the most respected players arround there. hes the only one who andy beal refused to play against, when he played against the "cooperation", he took ivey instead... i think this says pretty much all about his skills, if he fears lederer more than ivey...
but we all wanna watch mega agressive plays, à la durrrr and ivey, so lederer appears to be boring for us on tv shows, since he plays very nit there...
