thefodz was kind enough to make this ribbon for us, which we can just paint in different colors etc., depending on what we need it for:
The ribbon(s) will be placed below a user in the forum (and at the user profile as well), like this: ----->
The ribbons and trophies will be used for when bankrollmob member wins a freeroll, for instance the $1000 partypokerfreeroll on thursday. Then the user will be able to have the ribbon displayed like on the screenshot (above), it will be voluntary to use it or not.
I'm creating this thread to get your feedback and ideas, beccause I would like to get it online asap, instead of just putting this at the bottom of my to-do list...
Things we need to figure out:
How many ribbons should there be?
What should the ribbons be for, winning a freeroll only?
What COLORS should the ribbons be, and which color for what?
Should the ribbon (or a trophy) be for life, or just a limited period of time, like a challenge trophy that changes "owner" from time to time?
Remember: We cannot have unlimited ribbons!! As you see on the screenshot, they will be placed out in the left column under the user details, I would estimate there's room for max 5 or 6 icons, and it should NOT be something for everybody, otherwise there's no prestige in having a ribbon/trophy
Let your ideas roll...

Its nice ribbon ! i dont rly care collor etc but should be also nice if i get one for Cd pokerfreeroll ;/ i dont have screen tho since i didnt know there will be some addition as this ! but some guys should prove me what saw me .. i also made thread right after it ^_^ and mb there will be some prove in transction history also !! nice job admin or FODZ: D

No worries w4x, you'll get the ribbon once we figure out the system.
But colors DO matter, as 4 red ribbons for 4 different things, would look odd. Better to have like a green ribbon for winning a partypokerfreeroll (since their "main color" is green'ish), a blue one for titan poker, etc.

Well How about then one color for freerolls and other colors for other things .. like for example reaching some 50K points or so .. or winning leader board etc that should be better ..

wow ive been gone for a while come back and everything is changed lol but it seems that its all for the better lol i gotta get back into the rolll of things.. def liking the ribbon idea tho

(Fulltilt: blue, Party: red) and so on How long: I think the ribbons should stay as a testement to the acomplishment. maybe just fore some challenges it should be passed on, but like winning a freerole I think it should stay

Great idea! Good job TheFodz, nice work. I think we should avoid to use the red color though. The first thing I thought about when I saw the ribbon was "International AIDS day" http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&q=aids+ribbon... So any other color would be great.

I also play at carbon poker and there they work with thos ribbons also...They have red and green ribbons and next to it there are like little start how good you are...Maybe we could do it here at brm also...

Ribbons are a neat idea. Couple idea of what to use ribbons for: -Winning/reaching final table of a BRM freeroll. -Outstanding referral program participation? -Cracking the safe 5+ times?
just a couple of idea that game to mind, what do you think?

Fodz, This is a great idea. i think you are on track with this. You should get ribbons for winning a freeroll, X amounts of Posts. Time active with MOB. There could be others but that is off the top of my head.

This red ribbon for donating sounds really nice.

This a really neat idea, the ones posted seems to be agreeable, i would just like to add to make the ribbon to appear optional in our profile, so any ribbon that we have won can be displayed on disabled when we like. just an idea.

i think we should have diffrent ribbons for different clients say i win the partypokerfreeroll i get a star or something and say i win at the titan pokerfreeroll then i get a....titan?
Yeah. This rebbons is great idea for forum they good and simple. May be 1st place freeroll gold (red) ribbon 2nd place green ribbon 3rd place win a blue ribbon.. Also black ribbon will be nice for safe-crackers
