I've played on Betraiser for over a year and have made a ton of money and wish to continue to do so. See my blog: livingbyyourwits.blogspot.com for details. So it really pisses me off when people make comments, slagging off a poker room when they know nothing about it, have never played there and don't even know if it's on a network! You are jeopardizing this company's business, and from a more personal viewpoint, you are jeopardizing my (and other betraiser regs') livelihood with your idle gossip!

I'm not talking about OP Ogysss here, who is genuine IMO.

I can't comment on cash games as I don't play them there, but there is no advantage to be gained from having a big stack in cash games, as "no-limit" is a misnomer, it is really "stack limit" poker as you can only play for the smallest stack. But, I agree, it is surprising that he had such a big stack.

I know some American braggart was recently boasting on the 2+2 forum about how much he'd made playing cash on Betraiser. Maybe you ran into him? As for the randomness of cards, I've never noticed anything out of the ordinary. People complain "only on <insert current poker room>!" at every effing site I play on! (and I play at nearly every one). There are always idiots that think 80% probability should equate to 100% probability when it comes to them.

TBH there is such little traffic at Betraiser that any 'fixing' of games would be so obvious as to be suicidal by them. OTOH Ogysss strikes me as genuine. I'd really like to check this out for my own peace of mind too. Is this cash player still playing there? Can you PM me Ogysss, or contact me at the tables at Betraiser? I'd like to take a look at how he plays.

That does sound very strange. But as Stevecut says, it's such a small room that a cheat is bound to be caught. Then again I've seen donks play like that and get lucky on every site I've played on at low stakes...

But I have to admit 1500BB is massive for donk that plays any 2 cards..

Theres hardly any traffic on betraiser anyway. Problem with poker sites with small number of player pool is that cashouts might be a bit of a problem or otherwise stick to large and more well known networks.

The support for small sites isnt that good either, they hardly regulate the games unless you cash out lol

Here we go with the sweeping generalisations again!

OK, this is from my personal experience, not a generalisation. I play on Full Tilt, Stars, iPoker(3 skins), Merge, Entraction (2), Microgaming (2), Ongame(2) & Cake. Want to know who are the quickest payers? Betraiser, Boylepoker and William Hill. And I've withdrawn far more times from Betraiser than from the others. Maybe 15 times. Every time the money has been transferred within minutes or hours. That's right - Betraiser! Exactly the place that you are warning people against!

Sorry, I got a bit annoyed and got carried away.

To be upfront, actually I do have a vested interest in their success, as a sizeable chunk of my poker income would disappear if they ceased to exist Big Smile Cool

I also have affiliate links to them from my blog, along with links to many other companies who I recommend from personal experience. Not that I've ever earned a penny from any referrals, mind you, as nobody reads my blog Sad

But, honestly, those are not the reasons I'm defending them. I just get a bit pissed off when people write misleading generalisations, when I know, from personal experience, the facts to be different. I'm sure any other Betraiser player would be able to back me up here.

@Steve

I didnt heard that William Hill changed their cashout policy lately and if I`m right their cashout time period is around 4 days.

I've no idea what their policy is. All I know is that whenever I've made a withdrawal from Will Hills, the funds have been in my bank account within a few days, so I've always assumed that they must process it immediately. I do have a UK bank account, however, so maybe that helps? Maybe the banks are faster and Hills are slower than I thought?

I've played on Betraiser. And I can tell you there is hardly any traffic there, to me (personally) it just wasnt worth my time because i usually multitable a lot so for me, I did not find the site that great. Opinions obviously differ.

If we are talking about experiences then I do infact have played on more Networks and sites than what you've listed which involves in depositing. But lets not start an arguement here. Your opinion differs from mine. Let that be the end of it

@steveCut ... i have seen you there , i like betraiser ... and BRM is supporting betraiser because it's really easy to start from 0 ...
i would like to see more people at SNG , but ... it doesn't bother me so much the lack of players ... they double every prizepool at every tournament ... what can you ask more?
