If u play at bwin u prob know that the GSOP starts tonight with 350k deepstack NL $200 ( normally the weekly CC) Some how i won a ticket the other night. Now ive played around 6 CC anyways and one of this kind before but never cashed Wondering if anyone plans on playing it or has and gone deep before, Any tips or advice how be great

Well done ....... nice competition to be in ...... hope you make the money ........ Not the best at giving advice but if the blinds are longish say 10 min or more be patient and when you get a big pair like K,K or A,A play them strongly .... especially near start as you might get lucky and have some fish call with raggy cards ... and you will get paid maximum for them then Dont let yourself get short stacked if you do push with any two ..... infact make sure you always have enough chips that if youre going short you still have enough to push all in that would still make people fold Decide if you are in for the big money or just to hit the money ..... as youre game will be different if its just to make the money you will have to be tight....... but if you are in it for the big money you will have to make moves with raggy aces and cards like K,Q when you are in position and be aggresive ....... People who win big tourneys are aggresive and get lucky eg the might raise with A,Q get reraised and call knowing theres a good chance there behind and then hit ...... they get a big stack and become more aggresive and either go on to finish in the top or win ..... or else get knocked out early from there aggresive play I play a lot of mtt and have loosened up and got aggressive lately with a few good results in small buy ins mtt s lately have made the money two nights in a row in the new pokerstars Ireland and England only freerolls i have won several fast fifty mtts and been in the money too on Bigbet pokersite plus won the $2 mtt rebuy and finished in the money a couple of times too there and also made the money on the noble $3 mtt with over 800 players twice .... all this in the last 3 months so i have a bit of experience in mtts ....... and this is how i played them .....
so in a nutshell 1 if blinds longish patient at start but aggressive with big pairs 2 Dont get shortstacked if you are getting low start pushing and stealing blinds or get lucky and double up 3 keep a eye on the blinds and how they compare to youre stack (this one catches me out at times i think i have a good stack compared to the blinds then loose a hand and bag in trouble) 4 decide whether you just want to reach the money or make the big money and play accordingly I was in a small tourney recently had 1,800 chips and blinds 200, 400 and decided that was it was after loosing a hand and was big blind next so decided i was shoving no matter what .... because if i lost those blinds i had no strength in the game ..... cards i get were A,3 offsuite .... first to act pushes all in and everybody folds to me in the big blind i knew i was behind but still instant call he shows A,10 i was dominated (but could have been worse) i hit a 3 and win the hand .... and went on to win the game ...... I won the game because of this hand .... you have to push with any two cards when you are short you either loose and thats it or you win and now have chips to play with anyway good luck let us know how you get on........

wow thanks very much, just started has 20mins blinds and 5k starting stack so all good, 2398 runners got the prize pool to 455k and top 240 , so fingers crossed
