I got laid off today. So I will be here on the forums and in the poker rooms alot for now on. This might be my calling to see if I can survive off playing online poker. I always joked to my husband that well if I lose my job I always have poker.
I am goin to try for 2 weeks and see how much profit I make on my sites then make a choice..

My take on the matter is look for a job and until you get it try to make some money by playing poker, but making it your sole source of income could be a bit far fetched

Hey ProPoker420.. LOL at your statement. " can someone help me out I have no bankroll and used all these sites already." can some give me a new one that gives me free money.." not bashing you but how can you say that to me.
I agree stang, but the way I feel if I can make 100 a day average that is good enough for me

Thanks for the input, This is what I think I will do. I will Play poker for 3 months. The way I see it I have enough money set aside to live for 6 months, that gives me 3 months to try this out and then if it dosnt work it gives me 3 months to get my ass back to work. Thats what I will do.

Well golden the way I look at it now this is my plan and goal.
I do pretty well at .25/.50 NL and before I lost my job I would put in about 4 hours a day sometimes 6-10 on weekends.
my bankroll on Stars is at $1247.33 I feel that If I go to the .50/1.00 Nl tables my bankroll can handle the swings. I do consider myself to be a decent player, I dont have all the moves and booksmarts down but I do know when to fold and what is good.
I feel that if i play 5-8 hours a day I should be able to make $100+ a day. That is 2 tables at a time and just playing tight poker.
What do you think. should I play the 1/2 I dont think my bank can handle it but it could.
Like I said im no pro and believe it or not the only book I ever read was that crappy 2+2 book. I grew up on cards though and have a good Idea and seem to do well. I take my beats like anyone but I try not to put myself in those positions.
So if you or anyone have some advise I would love to hear it. not saying I will take it but I will look at it.
