just played a 0.20 cent sng
fold the first hand and then hit A-K at the second one
make a big raise and call a all-in... i lost it and got back 50 chips from the pot
almost tilt but took a deep breathe and finished in second place in that sng

You are so right. Once I was sucked out and had half a BB left, went allin on KQs and won, and the next one, and the next one... Smile made half the final table tilt and made first place! Big Smile

I had a similar thing happen on Party the other day. I hit the nuts straight in a PLO SnG on the flop and got runner runner FH'd. I had 100 left from 2000 but came back to get second place as I sat and watched the player i lost to bust the whole table hand after hand. When we were HU I managed to get back to about 900 but stacked off when the 2nd nut straight.

chip and a chair baby Smile

well done
sometimes when luck is on your side there is no stopping back.
if you played long enough then you must have experienced it yourself,
you just have to keep believing in yourself Smile

! was down 10 Buyins earlier, managed to grind that all back up to a 14cent profit. Talk about not wanting to lose.. took 8.6k hands and 10 tables to breakeven again. Anything is possible

I played in a 45 seat SnG where starting chips were 1500. Within 3 hands I was down to 70 chips and was able to claw bach to a 3rd place finish.

This is classic fight back story. Im sure almost everyone has done something similar..."chip and a chair" its great to come back and take something out of what could have been a disaster.
WELL DONE Thumbs Up

lol don't call an allin at the start of a SNG with anything less than AA/KK

But anyway, 20c I can see your point Smile

But yes, always respect your chipstack, I mean, you being down to 50 chips, obv you were pretty lucky to come back.. But also well done on it. But let's say you're down to 300 chips (out of 1500) whilst blinds are still low, then you can easily make a come back if you are sensible.. Nothing like picking up nice hands after someone just loses most of their stack and shoves the remainder next hand with any two cards. Terrible play, see it so much in low buy-in SNG/MTT and it's often pretty easy money to pick up. TILT is great when it isn't you. But yeh, never shove any two cards just because you lost most of your stack. Just take it on the chin and continue to play well.

I never give up on real money sng. Best recover was from 25 chips to second place, but i lost my stack in SB, so i had time to wait my A10 to "push" . On freerolls i dont wait, but sngs

LEt's say it like that, you had big luck to finish on 2nd place. To go all-in with AK in the 2nd hand of a tournament don't makes so mutch sense. I would not risk my tournament life in the second hand with AK. Probably it's a coinflip against a small pocket-pair. Cool

Had the same thing at PKVV organized bu Pokerstars in Belgium.

All-in on 5th at final table.
I was left with 1/4 of the BB (1/4 th !!)
Came back to play final 2, heads-up at the end.
Lost that unfortunately, he had a huge stack, of course...

Made the semi-finals that way!
Compensated for some bad beats earlier, I guess... Blink

would not go all-in like that in a big tournament was a 9 sng at 0,20 cent (and called a dude who is usually all-in in the first 3 hand with any thing he has seen him played before)
but ok was not the best move and yeah i got lucky to get back up ...but i was strick on the choice of my cards and was all-in with confidence lol

May not understand poker freeroll tournaments because in its reach and lose all chips are 150k with AA, QQ, JJ. Poker is for those lucky

Your mistake is that during the first hands of a Sit & go,
you can't go ALL IN with AK. Only with AA or KK .
That's only for the first 10 hands.

Happened to me once. After loosing almost all my chips I got 3 monster hands that allowed me to get back in the game, don't remember my final position though.
