HU matches have a lot more variance. i have no idea about techniques so theres not much edge i can get out of HU games. But once you do play HU, you tend to loosen up on 6max and FR tables.

Umm, after 3 or 4 hands opponent make all-in ?? WTF?
What level HU are you playing?? This sounds like rubbish play to me, if playing HU SnG on first maybe 1-4 levels of blinds do NOT call an allin on anything less than KK/AA it just isn't worth it. If you wanna gmable like that, don't blame HU. HU is a seriously skilled game. I love playing HU, in fact if I stuck to it I'd probably be doing a lot better in poker, my HU stats are much better than any other part of my game. Just be aggressive but not dumb. Pot control is everything in HU. I prefer HU ring than SnG - but they are similar in many ways.

i am not that good at headsup but i wanna get better, so i play now and then at stakes which won't hurt my bankroll so i can learn. i do feel u need some bit of luck to win but in long term i'm sure it'll cancel out.

Anyway i dont like them, i am not good at it, but sometimes i try some and practice myself on $5 lowlimit HU to get better.
Why do you think there is no skill involved in HU?

Whaaaaat? HU is extremely skilled! Well, apart from maybe the $1+$2 SnG's @ Stars and FT which are extremely soft, especially if you're all-in PF range is better than A4o
$5> get a lot tougher, but that's what training videos are for.
I consider playing heads-up the worst kind of poker. It's nothing but luck, luck and more luck. Ok, you can use some bluffing skills, but in the end, it only depends on two things that determine your chances to win :
1. luck, luck, luck 2. who has most money to throw away ? If you're up against someone who doesn't care about losing a few grand, and you play from your normal paycheck yourself, than you'll end up losing, no mather what luck you may have. Money speaks wonders in heads-up games, and bullying the other is one of the greatest factors that decide who wins, besides luck and the occasional (!!!) normal hand.

Headsup is a lot more than luck! However there is a big difference on headsup sit and go`s and headsup on the final table in tournaments.

Sry type mismatch Meant ''HU is deffo skill''
Ah, I guessed so, was pretty confused when i saw your posted, though.
Sometimes I played them but I don't like them; when you play heads up after tournament is quite different ( expecially if you have lot of chips ) but when you start plaiyng with same stack, luck has a a strong weight

Its a great way to train for tournament finals (if you get to get there ) and it also seems like a very nice way to double up faster, althought its not that simple. Sometimes i play it to be faster, but i rather play the 10 player double up SnG. Its safer because we also have others fighting for the same objective, so its like you have partners at the table!
