Every month, the sports site ESPN writes a column on their website called "The Nuts" where they list who they think the top 10 poker players in the world are at the moment. If one look back at previous months of "The Nuts", it stands clear that Phil Ivey is the big favorite (maybe not such a big surprise to anyone?). Anyhow, here are the top 10 players+comments for February 2010

Perhaps there can be a tendance from those who choose the top 10 to put Phil Ivey in 1st "just because", but even thinking in an independent way, he is the best poker player from nowadays. What leaves me sad is to look at the table and seeing durrr way down and Antonius almost at the top. If the fight between this two was running differently, would that be enough to make them swap positions?

Dwan is really way down. As much as I know Durrr challenge is still on and Antonius is losing big. So hoever voted this did it on previous results or based on.... i cant imagine. Antonius was losing last year and is not doing so good this year aswell. Strange 2nd place.
Maybe Antonius got 2nd because he made such a sleepy face in high stakes when 1 million dollar pot was shipped to Durrr after Ivey hit wheel and durr nut straight

Patrik Antonius had a bad start for this year. Overall, he must be one of the biggest winners. Everyone has downswings sometimes. Phil Ivey is very good at both cash games and tournaments. People like Bertnard Grospellier are mostly famous because of their tournament track record and important in marketing sense.

Well no suprise Phil was on top but I was shocked Daniel Negreanu was onlt 4th. He is my all time fav at the moment as he just makes some killer calls and can tell you what you have before you look at the cards..lol OK he's good but not that good.

Wow, I dont agree with lot of them, Some havent even won the main event at the WSOP, Just like sports Baseball/Basketball/Football/Hockey, you win you the best that years, never seen them say a team that finished half way down was the best, but thats my opinon

phil ivey surely deserves to be at top and so does Patrick considering his recent online winnings against isildur. surprised to see no peter eastgate in top ten
