Allright I won a few tournaments a month or two back now. Cashed some out and been continuing to play on the rest. Ive been playing using as much bnm as possible, i usually i never do that but i though i would give it a shot for a few months and see what happes. Jesus Christ people......iv´e never been in a worse rut. Iv´e seriously bubbled in easily 10-15 pretty big tournaments just the last week. I can´t win on cash tables even when i go down in level. It´s just simply not true -.-. Iv´e had my fair share of winning and losing streaks before but this time its just weird. I can´t seem to catch a greakin break.
Im holding Q10 hearts on the button and the flop comes AK5 o hearts. I´m up against the chipleader here whos been playing very aggresivly and im just screaming out of joy because i know the man is screwed. He overbets instantly putting me all in and i call him.
turn: 6h river 7h
He shows me 34hearts. Your kidding me right?
These things happens, it doesnt bother me as much as it used to but its just so many times now . Ill admit ive won a few pots with luck to but the size of them is never nearly the size of the ones i lose on badbeats.
Maby i should just stop putting people all in because this is getting seriously weak!
Anyways just felt i had to write of some steam before i go and lose the rest of my money (omaha this time, atleast i wont be pissed of when they hit runner runners on omaha)

Good place to vent your frustrations. I don't mean this badly, but it makes ME feel better that this happens to everyone. You sound like a good player, I'm just a beginner, 5 months, but I'll be coming here to release my frustrations as well, although I've already understood that poker is what it is. I do understand the loooong losing streak though, it gets to you.

Hello everybody! Yes I have had the same problem the last month. Each I took the bad beat was on the big pots against the donk. Conversely I won small pots normally. I lost much of my bankroll like that. $ 220 TO $ 30. I hope now that's over See you soon for new posts!
Seems to be a common thread here. Most of my losses over the last 2 weeks have been from donks. Had 1 trying to stone cold bluff with K-10os against AA, who in turn pulled out 2pr by the river. In another, I had QQ, raised 6x BB from MP2, flop was J-9-4 rainbow. Villian(in SB), who called the raise, with what..... pocket 4's. Call me silly, but calling a large raise preflop from a TAG with pocket 4's in the SB is usually throwing good money away but here, caught a set. Of course, my hand didn't improve, goodbye stack. I could go on and on, but there's not much point, it won't make me a better player or get my money back.
Playing turnements are all about luck and good play, sometimes you win big and sometimes you loose big against donks, unfortuntly donks are every were. The best thing about poker is to forget about the big looses and just remember the wins

My god, what a bad beat! Please, calm down . Poker is so unfair ... you just should know. What people may say to you is useless, I know, but it's true: if you go on playing like this, you'll win in near future. So ... patience

Calm down and better dont play poker for a few days or better for a week. After this just begin play and if you will see that have again badbeats, stop play.

if ur close to the bubble you have to remember a chipleader is not going out so he is going to see a lot of flops, he coulda had a set to and board pairs your out, tuff call with Q-10, I prob. woulda folde, just depends on if you feel lucky, we all been there and done that, your bad run will end soon, its all mathamathical, sooner or later the odds will catch up, good luck buddy
I can't say you '' it happens '' because I'm angrier than you Software run random ?? Yes of course. Bad variance ?? Yes of course. Bad beat ?? Yes of course but there is no justice in hold'em

LOL you're kidding right? You're folding the nuts? :O There's nothing tuff about that call what so ever. You have the best possible hand, doube fist pump and do a little dance. If you loose, so be it. OTF your a 19-1 favorite, the bubble had nothing to do with your decision....

Maybe dropping down a level will help. Get in a few winning sessions against weaker players and build up your confidence. I also like to re-read some of my poker strategy books with this happens - sometimes you forget a trick or two and reviewing them brings back some notions you might have forgotten. Good luck!

you are having a hell of a downswing, i think it would be good for you to take a short break and analyze your game to see if you are making any mistakes and to cover any leaks or maybe try other format of the game

Try to calm down. Yesterday, all of my premium hands /AQs and above/ failed to earn me money. Small flop, small turn, small river :S Lost almost 10% of my roll.
