I am not sure which business model you are talking about but assuming they stake a lot of people to play online poker they may own an affiliate or a skin at some network. They make their money when their players pay rake. I understand well why you don't ask more clearly.

I know they get rake back....who puts up the money for a sponsorship????lets say there is a site called poker sponsorship and this site like ones I have seen gives you money to play certain poker rooms...if you win you must give a certain percentage back to the site" poker sponsorship" is it possible that the money " poker sponsorship" uses to fund a sponsorship is given to them by the pkokersite itself?...which of course would be even more profit for the pokersite.

The site offering the sponsership will put in the money. They will normall ask you to complete a HH from your own funds, or show one from past games. They will evaluate and see if they think you can handle it, or make them money at higher stakes. Then if yes, the give you money to play say NL200, you get a % of winnings, say 70% and they take the rest, RB is all yours. Thats if you go through a site, if direct then normally you get all the money but have to do what they say. ither way you will be representing someone.

Dude, seriously, you live in Canada, which is an english speaking country... and you can't even form a sentance which more than 1 out of 100 can understand? No offence, but are you dyslexic or possibly suffer from some sort of brain damage? Sorry for the OT talk.
OnT: Yes, there is a thing called rakeback (...I guess that's what you're trying to ask...?)

Hello everybody! is really the most bizarre thread I saw on bankrollmob. I'm not even sure I know what it's about really. People are you drunk when posting. LOL it's a joke. See you soon for new posts!

gees lol It was really just a question I think I explained it better further down...haha If I knew it was to cause such heartache...I was a little tired but I don't drink lol
There are a number of sites that offer sponsership(bankrolls). These sites are paid by the partner poker room for the amount of new players that join through them. It's usually some form of rakeback as well. There ae even a couple of sites that will bankroll u for a whole lot more than $50.00 if u show some potential to turn a profit.....and sell your soul.
Don't worry about all the negative sounding replies to your post, 911. I understand what you are trying to find out, and indeed, you hunch is right. If you want more details on how sponsoring works, just go to Google and look up the words" sponsoring" and "staking" and "backing" in combination with "poker". All these terms are used in reference to a poker player being paid the buy-in (or part of) one or more tournaments, which he then plays in "commission" for the "staker", "sponsor" or "backer" in return for part of the winnings. On Google you'll get to read everything you'll ever want to know about this issue.
