Nicely done thefodz, however if that was me, I would have probably folded due to the possibility of a straight. he other guy could have called but was pretty much folded due to the K

W4x, the only reason why I don´t show my name is because this can only lead to trouble. Imagine someone here playes against me and loses about $500 in less then 4 minutes, or visa-versa, it could generate some hard feelings. I know we are all friends here, but when money is involved it changes people. So I rather my name remain unknown!

I understand you, same reason I don't share my name. Besides that it's not tactical smart to tell how you would play a specific hand if you are gonna play against him 25 min laters
Nice bluf great board for it, perfect spot I think. Keep it up

I don't get you. Are you trying to get the pot bigger so it's bigger to take down when you bluff? Playing draws this passively is quite bad. By playing them aggressively, eg raising the flop, you will benefit in a number of ways. 1) Your opponent may fold giving you the pot when you really have a weak hand at the moment. 2) It is so much easier for you to get paid if you hit your draw, and you will get paid more monies as it is harder to put you on the draw. If you don't raise it is quite likely the opponent mightn't pay you off to such an extent as the pot will be smaller, and you will have just come to life when the draw hits.
When you are playing at small stakes, you just have to be careful picking your targets for bluffs, as not many like folding top pair, or overpairs.
I would be more concerned with getting more money from opponents when I have the best hand rather than when bluffing.

My hand actually was irrelevant to my betting. I knew I was going to bluff even before I received the cards. Of course it depends on the flop first, to see which angle to take, in this case it was built to represent a spade flush if it showed the 3rd spade on board, of course a set could have been pretended.
So yes, of course I was building the pot for my bluff. I didn´t even care about my cards.

Why would you decide before the hand starts that you would bluff??????
Surely it is better just to recognise spots where the villain in the hand will find it very hard to call, like when a scare card hits as you point out?
What happens if you hit top pair? 2 pair? Do you still bluff? What happens if your opponent is showing all the signs of strength and the board is really bad to bluff on?
Building a pot for a river bluff seems kinda bad in this instance cos you have good hand equity on the flop and turn, so there would be a better spot to semi-bluff. Also, the villain is showing lots of strength, so why would you bluff? The river is a great card to bluff on as it turns out, as it makes it very hard for the opponent to call if he has top pair or TT, JJ, QQ, but if you would still have bluffed on a 2 of clubs river, you may as well have been burning money, as the villain folds very litle of his range then.

I agree in parts, of course nobody here is trying to burn money, and believe me when I say that the profit is good!
Yes, my dear friend, I decided before I received my cards that I was going to bluff. You know that it is possible to make anyone lay down any hand right? Except for a RSF, of course, but other than that, it can be done.
Let´s not forget that this hand is a unique exemple and strategy based on reading the opponent and table tendencies. It cannot be interpreted by a text book, because the key point, the variant here was the "reality in progress" at that moment, at that table!
Of course, it would be a pleasure to sit here and post all your traditional, text-book bluffs, but what fun would that be?
Regardless of agreeing or disagreeing, I love all inputs and feedback, so for that I am thankfull! Keep them coming.
