You ask about less/more and make poll with yes/no really weird one ^^. I think it will be more people.... cause more people want to try out in that kind of tournament and more sites are making promotions with WSOP packages.

Everyday there are more and more people involved in poker, lot more of poker advertising and programs on television (at least n my country) so the answer is yes

think will be more players because growing keening on poker very fast all over the world so peoples try to take the part off this show and maybe won some money

I believe it will have even more because the game has been more and more advertised in the last years, and some of those who started playing 5 and 6 ears ago, already feel like wanting to try their chance at the biggest event of the year, which will make WSOP more crowded.
I think it is alsmost inevitable that they will have more and more players yaer after year, and I expect it to keep on growing for at least another few years. The main reason , according to me, is the rapidly growing number of poker sites as a whole, and most of them in any way or other give the opportunity to wins seat to the WSOP, so more seats given away means more contestants. And overall, poker has been becoming more and more acceptable as a passtime, so more and more people will begin playing poker, especially you see a real boom these last two years in the young people's categories, and it's precisely those younger people who have much more "zeal" to get higher up in their pokr play achievements than the older generations.
So yes, I think we'll see a larger fields this years again compared to last year(s).

i think the general trend has been increase in players for last years except maybe one or two. and with online poker making poker more popular and making more seats available through qualifiers i think players no. will def. increase
More and more as every year happens; if you think about chances you have to go ITM and to win something important you shouldn't absolutely play it, but it's too important and lots of poker rooms pay pros to play it
