Well this is a new one for me and was wondering has anyone else tried it or dose it regularly ..... joined a staking site three days ago to see what its like ........ looks interesting .... but would i get staked to play ....... well today i received $1.25 to play 5 .25c 45man mtts on pokerstars ..... money was transferred into my account now all i have to do is play the games split is 60/40 plus return of the stake if i make a profit ...........
nothing big or exciting about this but its a start ...... hope to do well in these games and maybe get a few more like it and build up a reputation as a reliable and trustworthy player, and then maybe get stacked in a few bigger games (aim is to get stacked in the $4,20 180 seater mtts )
also you can set up youre own tourneys and look for backers ..... again will have to start small until people have faith in me .... just decide what you want to play and offer shares ... pay a fee to the site to put it up and hopefully people will back you..... play the games and if you win give everyone there share
and also you can just give people a stake to play with on games of youre choice .....
Any way looking forward to trying this out ........ it has the potential to give me the opportunity to play in mtt tourneys that would normally be outside my bankroll ..........
so hopefully my first stake goes well .... will be starting to play it tonight

Yeh had the same, problably not the site ur aiming at. I get $500 a day to play SNG stakes $20 and lower at 50/50 split. First i was impressed with the offer, but i can make more doin it myself.
Had to play enormous amount off games and maybe maybe maybe the offer get too 60/40 or even better. Well it was nice to know they wanted to stake me

I understand what you mean ...... if you can make more yourself whats the point ..... but if you made good results you could probably get stacked into a game above your bankroll .....
i would like to see if i get good results could i go on a get stacked or backed to play something like the sunday millions ....... this would be way out of reach for my bankroll and ill never get to play it by buying in myself but i can see potabilities getting to play it this way, and i definitely wouldnt mind splitting the winnings between 100 backers if it gave me the opportunity to try it out.
anyway will report how im getting on in this new venture over the next few weeks and give some information on the plusses and minuses

ive tried this on one site but seems complicated to get the staked money...maybe ill look around for an easier one..would be perfect for me right now payin for my wedding so not much extra funds wouldnt mind splitin 50-50 jus wanna play for entertainment more then anything...cant play playmoney games no skill involved lol
im on the same deal as doomdy but i clear each week. 50-50 plus make up. the feeling is nice, but i can do better without sharing half. im gonna ask him for 60-40 and 100percnet rake to myself soon.

i agree ..... anyway got off to a good start came fourth in my first game made $1.40 so thats the stake in profit all ready (got donked in a important hand on final table ... raised with A,K ... king on flop hes first to act pushes all in i call he has 6,6 and hit 6 on river arggggggggh) .... even the person who gave me the stake was watching ........ so a least i know they take it seriously which is a good sign

no cant post link as they promote pokersites ......
as for the site they take there staking seriously ...... they check out the games you play to see what youre play is like ....... i like this as if you play well and they are watching it should help when applying to be staked

Yes true, first a didnt have the qualifications for this, after couple off months they wanted to know my stats, which site ect, i also did get an interview, All was set too $500 a Day to start, 50/50 split, if i get it too $750 a day, next day my roll starts at $500 and winnings ($250) were taking out, same story other way arround, if i loose $100, next day my roll got filled with extra $100 to make $500 complete. I only got 50/50 off monthly winnings, every bonus/RKB ect was for them.....
I figured out i can do better myself, so i said TY for the offer

That sucks they wanted the extra bonuses, it should have been split 50/50 too. If you are a winning poker player and have enough money to play yourself then staking is a bad idea I think. I guess the only good thing about being staked is you can't really lose.
