The day I heard about the cheating scandal that happpend on Absolute Poker, I cashed out my funds and promised myself that I would never play there again, and that I would sock Mark Seif in the nose if I ever saw him in real life shortly after I did the same thing with Ultimate Bet, which had a similar cheating scandal with an "insider" of the company, and about socking Hellmuth in the nose, well, I just have always wanted to do that lol

Insider cheating can occur when a person with trusted access to the system (e.g. an employee of the poker room) uses his position to play poker himself with an unfair advantage. This could be done without the knowledge of the site managers.
Perhaps the first known major case came to light in October 2007, when Absolute Poker acknowledged that its integrity had been breached by an employee, who had been able to play at high stakes while viewing his opponents' hidden "hole" cards.[15] The cheating was first brought to light by the efforts of players, whose saved histories of play showed the employee was playing as only someone who could see their opponents' cards could. [16]
In 2008, UltimateBet became embroiled in a similar scandal, with former employees accused of using a software backdoor to see opponents' cards. UltimateBet confirmed the allegations on May 29.[17][18] The Kahnawake Gaming Commission announced sanctions against UltimateBet as a result.[19]

Well I think there is not much use for panic, because if there is a breach it is usually done in high stakes tables, because there is no need for the employees to risk their freedom for some low stakes game table winnings.

true but anyway if it happens again ... IF... doubt it i wont do anything else then continue what i do why should i stop playing at a poker site when the site got cracked by someone else a employe or a pirate what ever happen it was not the poker site fault cracked s**t is not from yesterday an its still gonna happen for a while until the net is complitly safe and personnily think that will never be
so if you stop playing at a site cuz they got crack i perdict that in a few years you wont be playing anywhere cuz you will have flushed them all
Sure, most people would cash out and change room... but I would be very confused if a cheating scandal happens at Full Tilt as it's my favorite poker room... the one I play everytime I switch on my computer for an online poker game.
