lol yea ok its not the nuts but ffs its the 2nd best hand there anyway im by with this but i dont give a crap but on that flop unless im on the bubble im calling if im unlucky enough to run into a 36 fair dos and if they have 2 im sure im still a slight fav its close but still the fav to win the hand and unless u can see some sort of super set that beats a str8 on that flop well most times i will win the hand my point was he went all in with pair of 4s

Sometimes you have to play marginal hands at tournaments. The flop was drawy and the opponent had a very weak made hand and perhaps hoped you would semibluff with something like 67.

Posted by xxxbchxxx: Wow just a min here boyo you are playing A3 and complaining when you get beat with A4??? no sorry you dont get any compasion here buddy. A3 isnt the kind of hand you tell everyone you are playing! A3 aint s**t godd for poker pal dont waist your time with A3 it'll bite you in the arse...oh yeah! it just has. Dont hate the donks as they bring new money to the table and of course they play s**t cards to things like A4...... there the easyest ones to mop up after as they tend to loose patients especially in mid to large tournys. they do ok at the begining then panic and play crap cards.... then it should be you place to pounce on them and punish them and make them give you all there chips....got it now? Oh yeah and dont keep playing A3 pal or i'll have to reap you chips also...
i agree man this is getting insane a3??? and your wondering why you lost ok so he made you lose to flush but you shoulden't be playing a3 anyway even if its suited and how can he be the donk if he has more chips then you
1 if you know hes a donk then dont do showdown with him

some times is great having some donks at the table but, i lost mi bankroll at party poker becos of them calling and hitting straights at the river. or having a 2 par like A 3, but thats just bad luck anyway that is not one of my favorite sites( i think they might be watching the hole community cards since the flop) but that really doesn happends very offten. And most of the time donks are giving their money away.

Hello everybody! The bit is clear we really talk about bad beats. I do not know why but it always happen when we approach the end of the tournament lol. When it gets interesting.
I've seen worse donk calls than that. The way your opponent looked at it was (2) outs to set, (4) outs to str8, (1) out for runner runner flush(which he hit) and a possibility of already having the best hand. So 7/46=15% or about a 1 in 6 chance with 1 draw. Having 2 draws makes it a 2 in 6 or 1 in 3 chance of improving his hand. I'm sure that if he knew your hand, he probably would not have called.

Some guys have all on their side... He didnt even put the possibility of you having the straight already! And then, things just got lucky for his side. There was nothing better you could have done, he just got it because all the cards were at the deck. If it has been other cards, you would be here congratulating yourself for going to the 2K final table. Perhaps next time...

Well, when you have a straight like that, and you know it's not the best hand, just follow him and don't raise, and if he gets a color, he isn't a donk, cuz he still had an ace and a pair, and he was waiting for the 3 to come, so how can he be a donk? you ain't better for follow him... i'm sorry you have to accept the fact that you lost and that's poker...you learn by your mistakes
