BUT the problem with poker stars is too many people too many pay outs the top prize for the monthly million is the same as the sundaymill on stars with the 1.5mill gtd so that wired

pokerstars just had there ann. million which fetched over $7 million with a $215 buy in, I didnt get a chance to play it but am waiting for the next one

I never played the monthly million (sunday million?), but playing around is that one of my most precious dreams. but I do not have a bankroll to play without keeping the buy-in necessary. can be very frustrating to lose so much money if you do not have a high amount in your account.

There are of course bigger tournaments both on Pokerstars and Full Tilt. Just look at WCOOP and FTops. Nothing can compete with that in either buy-in or amount of people participating.
However no doubt that it is the biggest tournament on Party Poker.
At last I don't think the monthly million on the Ipoker network should be neglected. I know the buy-in is a bit smaller, but I still think it is a very big tournament.

I haven't played that one, but i have played the weekly 300,000$ tournament, and that was a lot of fun, cause i got myself in there playing a 20 partypoint satellite, with ~ 250 players and top 2 got the seat. And there were ~1300 players in the main tourney and the first prize was 60,000$, i finished ~250, and cased for about 400$

i can't play at partypoker because it doesn't allow players from my country so i haven't played this tournament. but as for it being the biggest i'm sure there are bigger tournaments on pokerstars with bigger prizepool and more players
PS and FTP both have MTT's that are at least the same size or larger wwith lower buy in costs. Just because it has a large payout, doesn't make it wise to participate. Your EV is likely to be better in tournys with lower buy ins ($20-$50 dollar range). Go higher and the competition stiffens alot, while going lower you run in to mega donks the play like it was a freeroll.

Although, I'd prefer to be in a $1MGTDmtt with a larger buying (==smaller field) so i suppose if i were to be 'given' a seat in either then the PP one would be better since the bigger the buyin the better the value..
I'd even prefer a $1K entry into a $500KGTD tourney if it had only half the amount of runners..
+1, it sucks whn u have a relatively high buy in and then like 2k runners... god damn it i hate those fkers who drag you out with runner runner flushes and sh*t, ALWAYS on PS. Thats why I dont play there anymore...

i entered this tournament tonight: UK Monthly million quallifier speed freeroll.(party poker)
needed to come in top 10 to qualify as i did easy considering all the donkeys in party poker....so now ive qualified for monthly million special so wish me luck think i need to conquer that if i can then in to the big million $ tourny.

I entered into the Party Pokerfreeroll where top 10 get to go through to Monthly Million Special. After 2 and a half hours, i went out in 11th place
Party poker is a very good site in my opinion. I used up my bankroll a few days ago and i was 92% complete on one of my bonuses. I asked them if they would release it as i could not make another deposit for a few days. I thought for sure thy would say no and refer me to Responsible Gambling LOL. However, they replied:
"we do not usually act in this manner but as you are a regular user we will make an exception for you and manually release your bonus"
Party Poker is a good site. Their tournaments are fun to play in and aslong as you play tight you can usually finish in the money. I have been playing stupid for the last few weeks and have written out some rules for myself to abide by to ensure i don't get caught up in hands i don't belong in.

OUMYGOD! I won a ticket to that very same The million special tournament from playing Nordic qualification freeroll. Top 20 is gredited with 640$ tickets to that monthly million so I think this is a incredible chance for winning alot of money just for playing some freerolls...
