So for the past 2months ive been using the code '640' every single solitary time ive tried to crack the safe as SURELY the code HAS TO BE 640 sometime in the future? I go away this wkend and come onto BRM today only to find that 'Lowlander_PL' just cracked the safe today using the code 640. Won't lie, am a bit bleak about this. Feels like all my hard work has been in waste...

This is why I change my number everyday and don't remember my past numbers. If I played the lottery I would do the same, changing my numbers everyday, cos logically keeping the same numbers everyday does not increase your chances or benefit you in any way. If safe numbers are generated randomly and I say 'if' because it is hard to believe when so many new members win, then there is just as much chance as yesterdays code being the winning code again as your code. Also just cos your code hasn't worked for several months doesn't make it any more likely to work tomorrow.
However if you keep using the same digits and assume that others on brm are doing the same, with the high number of members, it stands to reason that there is a high chance of someone else using the same code everyday. Hence, if you keep using the same numbers and so does the other person, you are both splitting your chance in half. If you pick numbers randomly you could be picking the same as someone else but unlikely to be doing so everyday so your chances are actually better.

Yes yes yes... I`ve been trying to do this for over a year !!! Everytime with different numbers. I`ve selected this number randomly not even taking a close look what whas the last number (645 i guess) I1ve cracked the safe for the first time what made me happy just before going to work Whatta sunny day

I'm afraid your logic is flawed IslandJack. In fact there are 1000 possible combinations as 000 is also a possibility. And it could take a lot longer than 3 years to win the safe.
It is in fact very unlikely for every safe number to come up every 1000 days. Since chance has no memory it is more likely that some numbers will appear upwards of 10 times before one unlucky number comes up once. It could be 30 years+ before you win with that number.
Also you can't take away the months you've already failed trying. I won it when I first joined and haven't won it in the last two years yet I have the same chances of winning it this year as someone who won it last month and if I don't win this year I will have the same chances next year. So if i'm not expected to win for another three years it will be five years in total.
By my calculations the chances of not winning in the next three years are 33%. (0.999 to the power of 1095) Every month you don't win the chance stays the same for three years as of that date so every time you don't win the day you are expected to win gets further away.

I try different combinations each time I try the Safe. It is like a lottery, you got to be lucky to unlock the safe. Lady luck must be with you if you want to unlock the safe succesfully.

OK i like your style but broudcasting your number wont make it happen for you im sure of that...lol Still trying the same number each time is one of a few stratergys you could adopt for the safe, i like to wait till the safe is at over $50 then buy some shots.... I have done threads on this in the past but still not won on the safe..lol Buying extra shots during the time the safe is over $50 might work for me in the future but hat remains to be seen...hehehehe I use my free shot every day i log on but i dont have a set number to type in i just pick by randomly choosing 3 . Now i'll take the numbers above and wipe them off my list...lol (thanks guy's) I like the idea of the safe ... i mean the chance to get a prize just for guessing the number of the safe.... Thanks BRM

I know that feeling. Not so long ago I missed my 345 for few hours. That sucks
I had been using 645 for months and realized that the combo never is in the 600's so changed to a different number. And look at that 645 unlocked the safe by someone else........fk fk fk fk fk.
