DP (AIP) was a big issue on PKR also, I'd come across it a couple times, but never massive pots. Funnily enough, my connection is terrible and i d/c probably at least twice an hour, it really sucks. And normally I use my daily 2 DP's in really crappy moments, like being on small blind lol. And by the time I disconnect on a massive hand where I'm ahead I have no DPs left But anyway, I've been accused of cheating when the only AIP protection I received was for a small blind when i was more than 150BB deep in a HU match against a total fish. Anyway, I just lol'd when told I'd be reported. "Yeh mate, I cheated to steal your 25c, hahaha"
But PKR has recently changed there AIP and now you only protect what you've contributed to the pot, so you can NOT gain by abusing AIP you can only get back what you put in, this can certainly still be abused, but i think it is a big step for. And for all the europeans on fast connections, don't forget, there's those of use still with poor connections that are thankful for legitimate DP
