When whatever you do you just cant win
I know every poker player is ment to experience this at least once, but have you ever experienced this? how long did it last? and how did you recover and start winnning again?
because I was on a roll winning all the time but now I just cant seem to win
there was actually a programme just on bbc2 called 'the bubble' I thought it was going to be about my poker career

How to recover- good question , - strictly hold on to br management .
I think theres actually no cure for recovering from downswing, it just has to come to and end in one point if you keep playing the A game
yeh I probably started playing before I actually should of
and I just proved my point: playing in a NLH tournament for 3 hours dealt AA flop 8 Q 6 other person has 10 J and yeh he hits runner runner to make a straight....so thats 3 hours of my life that I will never get back

You cant think of this as 3 hours of your life you'll never get back, you just had 3 hours experiance of how to play poker. was you all in on that hand? as im sure if you had bet heavy after the flop they would'nt still be inthere hunting a straight? and i hope your not slow playing them Ace's?
As for your run of poor luck dont sweat it im sure if you have achieved in the past you can get in the grove again and turn this down swing to an up swing! Just keep pluggin away at it, i'm not a fan of taking a break but then i never get to play as much as i would like to anyway so taking a break would be just to punish myself and no one likes to do that now do they?

yeh I re-reaised pre flop, bet big on the flop he called, and by the river I had less chips han the pot so went all-in he obviously called, I was in the top 300 since the start top 500 to cash which is annoying because I was playing well, but yeh I'll keep trying. and NO I never slow play aces!!!!

lol These downswings can last a while sometimes. I've been playing on Noble with a $20 banroll for about a month now and almost lost it all. Was down yo $6 and ready to throw my PC out the window. Never seen so many bad beats, non-stop, INCREDIBLE! I finally had to go down to the 0.50c S&G just to save my BR. Horrible! I'm doing Ok on other sites, but that one.... Never seen so many crazy flops turns and rivers. Always going in with the best hand and coming out with nothing! I had about 3 second places last night, so I hope this "downswing" is coming to an end..I hope.. Bankroll Management is tough when you have to play the nano-micro limits just to save it, but it's the only way to go when you hit a HUGE bad streak.

Everybody has this downswings. I seem to have them for the last month's or so. Hitting a set on the flop and your opponent hit a higher set and so on. The important thing is to not tilt and lose as least money possible.

I presume you are playing sit and go's since you mention the bubble. Taking the downswing into consideration if your still a winning player all you can do is educate yourself on tilt more and take steps to improve your game. I persnally take an hour out each day to do this, even if it is covering things that you already know. If this downswing as turned you into a losing player then maybe spend 2 hours a day trying to improve your game.
And always stick to your Bankroll management theory.

Hi oll1e999.
When that happens to me, i quit poker for a few time. Then i used the time to study, watch videos and things like that. Of course, the first i study is the hands that make me lose.
