If you have not seen it before rush poker takes you to a new table anytime you fold. You can youtube it to see it in action
I have been playing rush poker and i wanted to know what everyone elses opinions on it.
I have mixed feelings about it.
Pros:
Hands per hour. You can average at 400 hands an hour easily. I usually average at about 50 hands an hour. I will often multi table so i am sitting at 4 seats. even compared to multi tabling.
Attention required. When i multi table i will often find myself feeling flustered at times. If i have a weak top pair, a flush draw, a straight draw and air on different tables and im playing against a fish a rock a LAG and someone i have no read on i can often find myself making the wrong moves. This is an extreme example but it does happen infrequently.
Cons:
Lack of continuity. Some players would say you cant get a read on online poker. I would have to disagree. Once i have sat at the same table for 30 minutes with a player i usually feel somewhat comfortable zoning in on his particular play style. Some players will bet small on a bluff because they dont want to risk much, while others will bet small with the absolute nuts because they are desperate to be paid off. Figuring which is which makes a big difference.
Fun. I like to watch what happens in hands im not playing. Its nice to see all ins play out and see players make impressive moves and horrible blunders. Because you are moved tables so quickly you dont get to see any showdowns besides the hands you are in. I am interested to know when i fold my flush draw but would of hit or when my underpair would of made a set on the turn. Poker rush to me feels a lot less fun than your average game of poker.
I am currently undecided about which side of the fence I stand on. I have great respect for the minds who invented it, and it certainly is the best way to turn over hands per hour but i dont know if the pluses make up for some very large cons imo.
If you havent played on a rush poker table i highly recommend you do. Its something that every online poker player should experience at least once.

I think it is very fun to play and the players are really playing bad ... but why are you multitabling 4 tables ??!! is that really necessary ? And the full tilt points are really dropping in at a fast rate

I tend to require a lot to keep my attention. Often when i multitable it will be 2x 6 handed omaha and then 2 10 handed holdem. Anything less and i find myself playing far too many hands just because of boredom
i have found a fault in this game here it is..............................
i payed the big blind moved to another table payed the big blind again, moved payed the small blind,#moved free cards , moved payed big blind again now whats all that about then?
plus it was a 9 seater table i just seem to pay the blinds all the time any1 else had the same problem?

The way they do who posts the big blind is its the person who hasnt posted the big blind for the longest at the table. And you always post the big blind if it is your first hand. so if you are at a table and everyone posted the big blind on there last hand, you could of posted it two hands ago and have to post again. Every other seat on the table is done randomly.

I agree that this is an issue they should sort out. The current system isn't fair. I don't know how they would correct it but maybe the small blinds should be controlled as well as the big blinds instead of whoever is randomly sat next to the dealer. three small blinds should count as posting a big blind or something.

If thats truly the case then you have either the worst luck in the world or the system really wasn't working as intended when you played it.
I have never posted my bilnd twice in a row but then again im only at 500 odd hands atm

im honest and admit that i never played rush poker yet i dare to say i find it boring for several reasons. always when i feel like "ok i try rush poker" i quickly change my mind and prefer to open up 10 tables instead to play RP.
i understand DaMessiah666 and im not quite sure if a poker traker is that valueable at rush poker
Rush is alright for the occasional change of pace. I wouldn't recommend playing it all the time though. If you go into a cooler playing rush, your bankroll can implode in a very short time. For clearing bonus', the points you generate in an hour is roughly the same as playing 5 regular full ring deep stack tables.
I tried it, just had to offcourse.. but I have to pay rent so still playing at PS, maybe in the summer I will give it a good try. It's awesome and addicting, FT left PS with their mouthes open, foreal!

It's offcourse just playing your cards (AFTER THE FLOP), everybody thinks like that: fold until monster, that's why there is a lot of stealing and restealing going on. You need balls to play poker, but you need balls and some kind of automatic weapon and kevlar for rushpoker.

That is jut a way to increase tilt level and turn players mad. That is just good for pros to train their brain to handle with all the pressure oponents put into them each time at a big tourney, nothing more than that.
Poker tracker would be incredibly valuable at a rush poker table. More so than at a normal table imo. I have always wanted to sign up for an account but that software aint exactly cheap.

I started playing Rush today, for the Take 2 promotion, and wow the points really accumulate fast! I played the lowest limits 0.2/0.5, and made about $3 and lots of points in about half an hour. So I guess I kind of like it, although all the points made by SCDossett are valid and I afree. So I will play this once in a while for the points and for the Rush! Man is that fast!

Yeah, thats the problem i see, you stop playing your opponents and start playing your hands. all you do is waiting for a monster, like all the others do... and than you find out which monster was better
