It seems that most people seemed to prefer fulltilt when flippedchips suggested this idea so as he designated the organisation of a fulltilt tourney to me I thought I'd move things on. Sorry flippedchips if you didn't want this.
I realise the date seems quite a way off but since notice of 4 working days is required I think it's best to leave more time. I will try and email fulltilt wednessday if there is enough interest.
I am more interested in who can make this time rather than those who can't. Don't worry if you can't make it. If this turns out well I'm sure there will be more. I was quite surprised by how many seem interested since the buy in is quite high, probably too high for most bankrolls. This tourney is aimed more at regular members of the forum so we can match players and their skills to names and comments here. So please don't feel you need to say you will sign up unless you really are interested. I need to know numbers so please be honest. I think we should aim for about 30 people for five 6 man tables but if there's more then that's good.

This tourney is not organised by BRM but by members of the forum which is why I think a name like friends of the mob might be more appropriate than BRM tourney. Also please address all concerns to me or flippedchips rather than BRM. It has also been suggested that a BRM league could come from this. This will warrant more discussion once this tourney has been confirmed.

yea ive no prob because fulltilt is a pain in the tits for me to set things up so feel free. i thought doomdy and the rest of the high post members would be up for this to maybe they have not been on the last few days but the time and date is fine with me i was thinking about the same

Would be good to play against names I recognise and talk to nearly everyday in this forum. So far I've heard interest from dozn01, fakiry and davoodoo to name a few but nothing from B1gfoot, shokaku, doomdy, dvlk, m3turbo, manuedo etc
I'm surprised since I've heard much discussion on this before. Most of them are here a lot so I don't know why but here's hoping this works out this time.

lol whats bump mean awood? i think we have did to many threads on this. the first one has alot of people who are up for it, so just go ahead and book it for the 14th and lets just be confident if we set the date the people will come

bump means to bump the thread back to the top of the forum. Wanted people to see it.
I'm sure more people will enter then those who have replied here but I need to send fulltilt expected numbers. Also many people who replied in the other thread said they preferred a different site or that they would definitely consider it. Since this thread gives an exact time and place people should be more definitive.

i think not everyone is willing to reveal his identity on certain pokersites he often plays - exspecially the big ones like pokerstars FT etc. theres a BRM tourny on BBP with $500 guaranted. i bet there wont be more than 12 players because some qualify tournys for the final tourny dindt take place. ive seen some of the regs already made it to the final and those who didnt still can join for only $5.50...so why not just join that tourny on BBP ?

not everyone has an account at BBP. This is scheduled for a different day so why not play both.
Really wish we could get more definite answers to this exact tourney. Some people are still replying to the other thread but not saying whether they can make this one. The wsop scratchcard is a brilliant idea but it's taking up a lot of the first page on the forum. It's hard to keep this thread in plain slight.
I'm not sure whether to go ahead with this unless we can get at least a few more certainties.

Sorry for my delay, awood88. Didn't want to surprise you in this ( negative, I suppose ) way but I'm italian and, as you know very well, all italian people like to spend Easter holidays with family. So I read this post just now. I'am very interested of course, just because I like playing among friends ( as I consider you and all writing here ). I only have a problem on 14th april because it's my mother's birthday and dare not to can play that evening . Is it possible to choose another day ?

That's unfortunate that you can't make that date. That's why I started this thread so we could get some definite answers on a certain date. I personally am fine with changing the date to thursday but then we might have some clashes with those who have already agreed to wednesday.
Monday and tues are too soon to organise and I think we decided against the weekend. But if thursday is better then we can do that if response is quick enough. If the week after is preferred then I think we can go ahead with the current date and I will get to organising another tourney in the next few weeks assuming this one is a success.

Im easy wed or thur, if u stick on thur then i will start to advertise. Fulltilt when they asked u how many did they want a limit? why do they need a limit i mean ffs can they not handle the stress and as for needing 4 days these guys just give shady service. When i found out about pokerstars they have no limits and it can be set up for u in 60 mins. Point is im easy if its on thur. if u go and book it i maybe suggest a new thread lol i know this will be the 4th but for the title BRM $10 TOURNY THUR SIGN UP NOW TO PLAY!!!!! plus put another poll that dont matter to much but people always go to the polls so they are more chance of saying something and il help keep on the front page

I'm just going on the information I found. It says at least 4 working days but I'm guessing it won't take so long. They also say they want an expected number but you're right it's not like they can't handle any number and I've seen private tourneys with hardly any. I guess they are just more likely to set it up faster if there's more people involved.
Considering everything I think we can say it's now on
Thursday 15 april at 18GMT (unless there are problems Fulltilt end)
I will get right on this now then so we can have more time for advertising. I would suggest flippedchips that you don't make the final thread until the tourney is confirmed. Hopefully won't be too long and yes make sure the thread title is obvious and attention grabbing.
but the time and date is fine with me i was thinking about the same
