how much secracy is advisable in playing online/live? like showing your cards after a successfull bluff/not showing...
??
is 100% secracy better than partial? i know its all in the moment and you really have to decide when the time comes, but i still wanna know what everyone thinks about this!
In live, never show and ... essentially ... never talk! Experienced players try to read your tells in your voice, your gestures, ... in live tables be a cold ice, is what i have taken by my experience.
The only hands i show are Quads and Straight flushes. Things like that are rare enough that i want to share them with everyone else at the table. Regardless of if that gives away some of my betting pattern.

There is no secrecy if you want to muck your cards. It is up to you my friend, if you want to show your cards. But that is all in the game. Poker is fun to play and is very exciting.

"Never show s**t thats my rule"....
I agree. It's often used to show off when bluffing, or to give an impression that you bluff a lot, or whatever... Anyway, it's useless and not very wise IMO. Get "caught" on a bluff once in a while and confuse, that's my rule. Just don't let anyone get a hand on your game.

makes sense. i usually show my cards if a bluff comes out successfully. after that i play kinda easy for a couple of hands. usually dont bluff right after a big one.
