But thats in the middle of the week!!! Are you scared of those poker players who only do it at weekend (usually known as "donks" but very famous for destroying pro's stacks in the beggining of the tourneys)? You are eliminating a lot of possible oponents. I understand that maybe it wasnt you who chose the day, but still, i think something like this should be at weekend. Perhaps next time i can be able to get in and have some fun with mobsters! Good luck for all!

Lots of people like to go out on the weekends though. I think the majority of people prefer to play in the week. It starts at 8pm for most europeans and I can't see it going on until 1 in the morning so I don't see a big problem for most players.
However it's quite obvious that whatever time we made it not everyone was going to be able to make it so maybe next time we will consider a different day of the week. Flippedchips did create a thread to ask people where and when they preferred but we couldn't have endless polls.

Surely holding it on a Sunday would've been the better option, Sunday is tournament day after all! And, although I'm rolled to play this, there aren't going to many people on this forum that are, why would choose $10+1 as a buy-in? You've lost out on a lot of players due to silly mistakes imo, no offence.

IF it is possible, the password should be removed from all posts in this thread. There's a lot of Password searches and sites out there. Just type "friends of the mob password" and you will find this page immediately.

I for one would rather play an exciting tourney with a lot riding on it (reputation as well as cash) than a cheap side tourney which every single member of brm plays. By side tourney I mean a tourney I would play whilst playing another sng or whilst watching the TV.
I wouldn't say that I am a great player. I'm not particularly rolled for this either. But I'm going to enjoy the challenge, buy in with my take 2 bonus which I'm prepared to lose and I will be very interested to see the result. I may even watch the final table if i'm knocked out.
The idea of a BRM league has been mentioned. In this case I will suggest a points system I will go further into later which allows members with smaller bankrolls to compete in the same league as those with bigger bankrolls. Until then this tourney will sort out the sharks from the pretenders and of course be a lot of fun.

good stuff getting a bit of feedback now. as for times and dates i dont know what days everyones doing something and doubt awood would have everyones information and we did ask. I also thought on a sunday alot of people maybe playing the big tournys. The buy in like awood says it escapes most donks and gives something to battle it out for. For people saying they dont play on fulltilt either do i but i will make a deposit of $11 just for this tourny. My name on fulltilt is Flipped777

Went broke on full tilt, if I calculate al the last hands I should have had a huge profit, but it's poker. But every week there's a cashgame in one off the studenthomes, where I normally always have a profit, sometimes very little when I dont get cards and when I have to read more players, my goal is now o keep playing there and when I have a nice profit to deposit it on my account, so maybe in the future i'll be in

yea i play on pstars and a few others but most people who on the mob seem to play on fulltilt ( god knows why ) but im sticking $10 on my account to play u should to, it will be a good laugh
I don't have enough money on fulltilt poker only abot 20 $...so I i couldnt spend half of my bankroll there on one tourney ....if it was on the pokerstars I would join.....hope you will make it on pokerstars next time.......

as for kingerstefan i have looked at his stats.................. put it this way hes playing stakes are much higher, also good win rate ...........
up around 2k or is that a bad thing cause he playing against us
