Hi have any1 actually won a package before ? I was just wondering what would actually happen when u won the package ? do they buy the tickets and pre register for the tournament for u or will they just pass u the cash to ur cashier and u go and buy the tickets and register for the tourney urself ? this confuses me and hope any1 that knows sth can share something =) thxs again

lol i guess those replyes didn't answer to his question i never won a package, but i guess they will register u on that tourny and give u details via e-mail. Not sure .. but for sure they won't give u the money. They need players for they site to a main event

I suppose it shouldn't be so easy ... I suppose when they say $14,000 it's a way to value the prize. If WSOP costs, let's say $10,000, they give you buy-in to the tournament, the pay you your flight and hotel and give you $1,000. At least, Pokerstars says that is what they are doing

hmm... i see... any concrete information from any reliable source like friends or relative guys ? cuz im feeling lucky and probably joining the 150 package wsop main event for fulltilt ehehehehe hopefully i get to play wsop main event this year as i feel 2012 is the end of the human race =p

You cant get the money for the packafe in most cases. I know for sure, that sometimes you can sell your package to someone else, but you have to chekc it first. For the pokersite id doesnt really matter, who is going to play, unless your some big star. And there is always possibility to take the package and sale some shares of it, so if you lose, you get some money, but if you win, you have to share it.

the wsop buy in is 14 000 ... you have to hitch hike all the way to Las Vegas =)) not mentioning sleeping in dumpsters ... so don't register to the final if you're not willing to make some sacrifices , if you can't handle it ... ) no , really ... it's all paid , you go to the airport , someone gives you the ticket to LV ... al paid plaine , hotel , made reservation on your name , buy in already paid so you can't sell the package ... and i guess 1000 $ or more pocket money

nah duck im not talking about the wsop package from big bet poker. and the wsop buy in is 10k but fulltilt package only give additional 2k which i doubt will be enough to cover for all the 6 days im going to be there.. if i win that is =p!!! welll at least the hotel is giving free hotel for all the days ur there if u won it from full tilt ^^

I believe with less than 1% doubt that accommodation and entry will be paid for you in your name. You won't receive the money value unless you win two places. You won't be able to sell your place. You will be expected to represent fulltilt at the wsop. I can't see anywhere where it says your flight will be paid for.
I guess you will have to pay for travel using the 2K for additional expenses. You say you would be there for six days but full tilt will only pay for three days accommodation unless you remain in the tournament. So it will no doubt cost you some money to go if you don't win any prize, not to mention time off work, but it will be an amazing holiday for what you do pay.
I was surprised to learn that if you do come away with any money at all you will also win a place into the wsop 2011 curtsey of fulltilt so this is a very good deal if you can afford to go to vegas.

I don't think you could run away with the money, i doubt there is money at all. Rather, you'll get your entry and hotel directly played without you ever seeing a buck. The poker sites, I guess, get their entries for their users via some kind of publicity exchange or something

i also would like to know as ive qualified for a stage 1 tourney, if i place 1st or 2nd i win ticket to table where the package is 2300 euro wsop. but the problem there is no info about what comes in the package
