Wonderful beat.... :/  0
My housemate was playing a $10 tourny on Full Tilt

Sitting with 12k chips
Blinds are 100 - 200

Picks up 10 Club 2 Club in the BB
2 Limpers - Limper 1 = 13k chips, Limper 2 = 14k chips
so everyone is fairly deep
SB folds

'bout 750 in the pot

Flop
A Club 4 Club 3 Club

Heros flops a 10 high flush with gutshot str flush draw

Hero checks
1st Limper bets 600
2nd Limper calls 600
Hero raises to 1400
1st Limper re-raises to 3500
2nd Limper calls 3500
Hero re-raises all in (bout 10k)
1st Limper re-raises all in (bout 11k)
2nd Limper calls (bout 11k)

1st Limper turns over 7 Club 8 Club
2nd Limper turns over K Heart K Diamond

Hero starts celebrating as they both pretty much drawing dead

Turn A Spade

River A Diamond

Giving Limper 2 a FH
......................

Someone plz explain to me how the hell limper 2 can think he's good with an A on the flop and no club in his hand after all that betting?
Honestly think he must be able to see the next 2 cards or something, cause NOTHING can possibly explain that play?

Doesn't shock me! Welcome to the unreal world of poker! We all have suffered bad beats. My worst was, in summary: A9(me) vs K7(BB), Preflop: raise 4xBB, BB calls. Flop: A 9 4 (rainbow). (Me) Bet 3/4 pot, my opponent re-raise all-in and i, obviously, call. Turn: 7, River: 7. Got out by a donk!

Really bad play. But actually by all three players. If a bunch of other players are interessted in the hand on that flop, i don't like a 8 high flush and i even don't like a ten high flush. But what was the guy with the kings thinking? Full Tilts fish protection will save the day? And it did. Evil

the big question is why didnt he raise b4 the flop with the Kings ????

if he did this every one would of folded, so he must know somethink ,
this is the only way to win so many chips in this hand is how he played it limping in ,
looks strange on how he played............hmmmmmmmm
filt tilt must be rigged then Smile

Amazingly spectacular bad play from KK. Limping in the first place is idiotic especially with the first limper there as well. Don't know what he was thinking calling the 600 let alone the 2900 more and then the all in.

But can't say your housemate played perfectly. He should of bet first off on the flop to avoid another club coming. Having failed to do that he should of raised a lot more as he was giving someone with a high club and a pair very good odds to call. Probably wouldn't have saved him from the donk but he couldn't be criticised then. 10$ too, that's amazing.

Dont you guys remember, when you started to play poker. How you didnt raise preflop with AA, because you wanted to win more and then you couldnt fold, if someone obviously did hit set or TP.
Same here, limper wanted more then just blinds and then he couldnt fold KK. Oh, my youth...
But the other players were very-very optimistic about their hands -10 high and SF draw, pfee.
And even worse 8high.

at the end of the day he got lucky, what poker is mostly about, and a bit of skill.bad beat but had worse online and more in live play so there no conspiracies there.when you think youve you is when you lose............butwhen nothing to lose is when you win.........

Live game : dealt 10 10 raises 3 times BB, big blind calls. Flop 10 7 3(rainbow). Big blind moves all in, easy call. He shows A 6 offsuit. Turn 9 river 8. He beats my set with runner runner straight - donk
That's poker, but in the moment the cards are dealt it was a little hard to accept
Spade Club Heart Diamond

Hi SimpLe-SI.

Easy to explain, he´s a very big fish. Limp KK with 70BB. This move say all about how fishy he is. Some players seems be touched for the God of poker sometimes, but finally they lose his chips in stupid movements (or win the tourney Big Smile ).

Bye!!

I guess he somehow tried to slow play the kings and then when he saw danger on the flop he tried to raise everything in so he could try and buy the pot. This is not uncommon for an ametuer player with KK. They have such a great hand they are unable to fold it no matter wheat cards are on the board. I'll bet even if he saw the turn was another Club he still wouldn't have laid his hand down. This is something that really annoys me too. It happens alot. Some noob who has very good hole cards, cannot lay it down and will call any bet even when they are 70% beat, then they hit some luck ycard on the turn of river.

I also see this when people are holding AK. I have been holding say QK suited, the flop will give me a high pair with high kicker. Say flop is 6 4 Q. I will raise 4x and will get re raised just because that noob is holding AK. When i call their re raise the turn will come say 7. Then i will raise again still almost sure i have the best hand. Persons holding AK raises all in. So i call. Knowing because they are very loose that they probably just have a high card. Then the river will come A or K. Meaning they bet absolutely everything they hve on AK even when it doesn't hit, and then get lucky on the river. Makes me so mad.... Sad
