ive seen that havin some liquor before a live game helps loosen up quite well. you are more relaxed and the anxiety reduces a lot. its more difficult for people to get leads on you when you are so relaxed and focussed.

I don't eat or smoke(this one never). I drink water or ice tea while playing. Eating while playing screws my keyboard and mouse, so I better don't eat anything.

Voted for beer and crisps, but only for the crisps, coz i dont like beer. Prefer getting water, much more healthy, and doesnt make u fatter, since when you're playing poker, you're already not doing exercise. (crisps are fattening too but they're SO GOOD )
