another problem might cause the temporary changing of the code as prize climbs up,so technicly speaking a code you introduced 1 minute ago can be the winner combination 60 secs after you gaved it a try

It was $100 very recently.. Also, I believe admin said the highest it's been is $130
Anyway, it starts at $20 and goes up every 24hrs, so i guess in theory, there's no maximum amount it can reach.. Although I dare say if it ever got to >$200 then soooo many people would be buying 50 shots to have a crack it wouldn't stay there for long..
Anyway, I basically pick random numbers each day and if it get's to $50 or more, then I reckon it's a good buy to purchase safe tickets with your points. If its $60 or more it's technically EV+ in the long run
I won $50, I bought 50 shots and got it after about 30 tries.. "800" was the winning code I believe.
