GL with it anyway, this could easily be a massive factor in future backers. If you can do a decent ROI here you'll have no trouble getting some pretty decent stakes

there is a pretty popular website, im sure you can google it, where you have to put your stats ad the people can decide to stake you...its been around for a fair while now
i have looked into some staking sites but could never be bothered since
a) im probably not good enough b) looked like it would take a lot of effort to set up an account c) would make poker a little less fun if i couldnt keep all that i won

Well as for b) very easy ..c)i having loads of fun ... but can understand where your coming from .... but then i probably wouldnt have played the games unless i had the stake or backing so wouldnt have won the money in the first place ...
Quick point where im coming from .... when i started i only had $2,20 in my pokerstars account .... im a out of work stay at home dad and couldnt be putting money into poker .... now i have over $50 from doing stakes plus i have nearly all the $150 put into my account for my bap (expect the rest to day latest to morrow ) ....so if bap goes bad still have my money if bap goes well and have to split GREAT .... means i have more money plus i will have no problem getting more money to run with .... can do this till im happy with my bankroll and then i can invest in others who are playing well ....
But im going to stick to this thread with updates on how im getting on so you can make up your own mind then as of to day im bringing forward the start date to this Friday as i have most of funds in my account and the rest should arrive to day or tomorrow (have gotton $115 so far)
will be starting with a few $10 + buy in sng (never played buy ins at this level before biggest has been $3 ) if i win i will be putting $10 aside for mtts if i come 2nd $5 aside for mtts will only be playing mtts if i hit a win or second place in sng Will be running like this till end of May if i run bad will drop down in sng buy ins .... if i run good will move up
anyway should be interesting for you to follow ...... will be posting results here

Well started running my Bap to day started small $1.75 18 seater omaha h/l games (had the kids in the house so didnt want to run bigger buy ins in case i got distracted
Starting Bankroll $150 present $142.20 ..... a few games were cruel river beats .... straight all in knocked out on river by rivered full house ..... nut Ace high flush all in on turn rivered by full house ..... trip 8s beaten by trip Ks and last game chip leader when down to final four .... only me (small blind ) and big blind who had only half the chips i had .... flop 3 spades A high .... i have Q high flush so push all in hoping he might be drawing to a low hand ... well he was and called but also had K high flush (how unlucky is that ) next hand flop 3,4 10 ... i have A,2,10 ,K and put the two others all in both call ..... one hits the wheel the other hits two pair and i loose ......... poker eh
so from 6 games i only manage a fourth and $2.70 ....... But early days ..... just make me more determined
anyway will continue with the updates when i have played more
That is a string of bad beats. You get them much more often in omaha because players do have such massive draws. just a set has more outs than a flush draw on the river. And most people can never lay a set down. Doesn't make it better when you hit a string of bad cards though.

Well i played a lot on Friday ..... now have $105.15 ....... continued in the same way .... i have never had as many made hands loose .... to many to mention ... but one sticks out in my mind ... omaha h/l flop 9,J,J .... i have 9,J so nice flop a full house ...... so check ... one lad bets everyone else folds and i reraise him all in and he calls .... cards go over he has J,3,4,K ....looking good until a river K knocks me out ...ouch
Best result came 4th in a 90man $1 nlh game .... irony didnt need hands ... bluffed ... played aggresive pushed people of pots and still make it to 4th .... in the omaha made straights ,flushes and full houses and got knocked out of games ....Figure that one out
anyway still positive long way to go yet ..... im determined to end in profit
