Last night i got back from the movies at about 11 30 and just wasn't ready to hit the sack yet, so i opened up Full tilt and there was a $2 tourney with 40 entrants starting in a minute. I thought to myself thats the ticket and decided i could play that then head off to bed.
30 minutes later i had doubled up and was coming 70th. At this point i went huh? and checked the lobby. The entrants had gone from 40 to 200 during the late registration tournament. After about 4 hours of play i ended up coming third but it was four in the morning.
I went to bed and just couldn't bring myself to crawl out of it in the morning for my law of intellectual property lecture. Winning felt good, but i feel kind of guilty now.
I didnt realise it would last until 4. I expected a 40 player field. But once i realised it wasnt i just could do nothing to walk away from the comp while i still had chips in fornt of me.

Conclusion: never trust on late registration ... In Pokerstars is a nightmare: extended late registration lasts 90 minutes and is a very attractive situation to register because people start playing at the moment. For next time, take this in account By the way ... congratulations

Thanks for the congratulations. The win was much needed. I had been on a huge downswing and this helped me feel like maybe it wasnt all my fault. I also did pretty well in ring games that i had running in the background so in general was a productive night. Bankroll is still a bit lower than it was at its peak but its the confidence i got out of it that i think was almost more important

Congrats, you doing well. Of course you must know even with a low number of players MTT can last over 2h, so for future keep it in mind. And you are young so if you sleep a few hours you must be Ok, at least for me is ok.

that's just one of the things i hate about PS. It's crazy. On FT at least it's only in the first blind level.
