The International Mind Sport Association (IMSA) has accepted the International Federation of Poker (IFP) as a member organization. This means that poker is now officially a mind sport, just like chess, Go and bridge. Poker will also now make an appearance in the next World Mind Sports Games (WMSG), due to be held in 2012 alongside the London Olympics.

does it change anything ? Poker not only for adults or something (dont think so because of the money. But maybe Playmoney Accs are aceepted now for not-adult people (that seems like nonsense for the pokerroom but it isnt. If you start playmoney you get interested and deposit later on, you know )
It's nice to see poker recieve some legitimate recognition from a respected body. It's too bad the US government will not change there view of online poker.
