There are many good books out there, but it seems David Slansky's book is one of the best! It teaches you both technique, math, and practical application

Wow, I didn't know Gus' book was so good! If you say it is, it probably is... I don't know why, but I always had the impression that Gus is not so good at giving away tips and teaching you stuff, although I know he's a very solid pro (even if he made some terrible moves in this season's High Stakes Poker ). In contrast to Phil Gordon, who seems like he was born to do just that... Sounds cool, I'll just try to find it and download it
Hello everybody! Sklanksys books are good if you want to learn to play poker like a robot. His s**t is all limit holdem and rarely applies to no-limit. most of his math based strategies go out the window when youre playing no-limit. in fact, im confident that if i was to play in a cash game with david sklansky id whoop his a**. and ill bet on that, and raise. There is a right book presumably at this of course. But worthy to read this and to practise a lot.

Right now iam reading 52 great poker tips from low krieger. I think the author is one of the best poker writters in the market. Harrington on Hold hem is a very very good book too.
