I think its sick that the dealer didnt say anything, so i think the dealer is the jerk... If you're raised properly and someone gives u that kind of money you say this is too much, are you sure?

haha I honestly think if the dealer was more up front about it Sammy
would have let her keep it or at least give her a nice smaller portion of it!

Would it not be insulting to the Pro player to point out he does not know the value of the chips he is playing with?
If someone wants to give me $25k i wont question it.
Just had a quick google to find out...seams that the story is a few years old?
The dealer was given 2x5K chips by players and a 25K chip by sammy.
I want a job at the Bellagio....

The dealer ought to have known that she would not be able to cash that chip.

Why?

This was in Bobby's Room, where they usually play for millions. So 25k should be nothing for those players.

Easy come, easy go. Dealer could do better tho. If she played cards right, she probaly could keep it with Farhas accept. Or atleast some of it

I dont get the fact that the dealer wouldnt have been able to cash it out. Was it because S Farha wanted it back or just casino policy?
I thought they got tips all the time - why get tipped chips you cant spend?
I also agree Farha is a bit of a d**k over all this...... Blink

Wow what a horrible story. From the title of the article, I was ready to applaud Sammy for being so generous to the (presumingly) underpaid card distributor . . . obviously, what transpired in the article itself is borderline disgusting. Did Sammy not realize the value of the chip or straight Indian give?!?!? Either way, it's kinda b******t.
