Out on the bubble. Absolutely SICK lol  0
Hey guys, just thought i'd shar my latest misfortune with you all lol.

I registered in a $2 rebuy on PP last night, 3k GTD. Played an amazing game, i only bought in once for $2 which was my original plan. I let the donks battle it out and managed to accumilate myself a nice 16k stack by the end of the first break. About 100 people had been knocked out leaving about 300 remaining. I continued to play tight and a few hours later i had got my chip stack up to 132k and 12th position.

Only 64 people left now, bubble is 60 for $12 final table min $50 and first place $750. I have a Tight aggressive player to my left. So my cards are dealt. AQ spades. I'm happy with that and i have almost the chip lead to i make a nice raise to 8k (blinds were 1k and 2k) Tight aggresssive player calls and everyone else folds. Flop comes down beautifully.

10c Ks Js - Awesome, i hit a straight, now i decide what i should raise assuming to take the pot right here. With a nut straight and nut flush draw (possible Royal flush) on the board how can i possibly lose this pot..... SO i make a raise to 32k. Player to my left snap raises ALL IN!! Hmm, I couldn't really put him on a hand, has he really just given me all his chips that easy after playing so tight....? For some reason i was worried to call lol. I didn't really want to put all my chips on the line, what if he hits quads or something. I finally figured he must have the same hand as me but without the flush draw so i call his all in raise leaving me only 3k chips and everything i've worked for 3 and a half hours in the pot.

He flips his cards. Pocket 10s, he just hit his set and i guess he was trying to push me off the pot. Turn comes down and gives me my nut flush - 6s

River comes down - K hearts Sad

I go out in 64th position. From 12th place and strong oppertunity to take a massive lead. To out of the tourny with no cash prize lol. Oh well. Maybe my luck will be better tonight Smile

that sucks. There was no way you could fold. But in all reality he had one of three hands. AQ a set or perhaps 2 pair. All of them with pretty good outs against you except for AQ.

It always sucks to get cut that deep.

Do it like Doyle does. Never play AQ. Cool

But if that guy was so tight he has at least two pair here. With a set he has ten outs on the river.

I also had lots of outs. Nut flush possible too, i just never put him on hitting that FH. Never mind though. S**t happens Smile There is no way i could have laid it down lol

If the best player of the history said that, don't doubt it, always fold AQ, no matter your position, stack, ... Blink

Hmmmm you flop straight with nut flush draw and still worried ..... please please tell me why ... i thought you were going to say you folded .... you got very unlucky .... hit the flush as well and still get screwed ...... but these are the hands you cant get away from .. he thinking Trips ahead and going all in to make you pay to draw to a str or flush (not realiasing you allready hit) ...

roll on the next game ... and hopefully things will finish even better

That hurts. Dont think there was way out, so you just have to wait for next more luckier day. GL

Like he said, he was worried because the guy could hit quads or full house on the turn or the river, and probably also because the big amount of money on the line there...

VERY unlucky for sure m8, better luck next time...

i bubbled with AA against 83 Blink and hit an A on the flop...
But that are the pretty sick situations you need. Otherwise only pros would play Blink

Man, those are the kind of plays that make poker what it is, and hurts BAD!
Thankfully it plays the other way sometimes and we get the better of it.
But after 3.5 hours, it sucks!

I'm playing the daily Dollar Rebuy right now, that cn last more than 10 hours.
Hope I don't get bubbled on that one.... Confused

What does 1st place pay in the daily dollar? $500?

that sucks. But always assume a set in this situation, I can't count the amount of times I've flopped nut flush/straight only to have a set shove into and hit the FH by the river.

Still, even if you KNEW he had a set, you'd still have to make this call. Unlucky.
