Congrats Did the police catch him or did you find the car? And if the locks were broken how did you get running?
And someone stole one of my dad's trailers but my Dad found it in some yard and the guy who owned the property said someone dumped the trailer there. OMG lol.

@GeneYuss...I took a week of work to go in "investigation mode" after 6 days with non-stop work to find car and only 2-3 hours sleep pr night some nights 0 hour I knew everything about the thief's full name, his tlf nr, age, prior addres, brothers name, which car he has, what he has been convicted for in the past etc etc I knew absolutely everything about him except where he lived. I told this to the police and they would not do anything except add the new info to the file and look into it after the weekend (this was friday morning). I knew (had widnes who I brought to the Police station he had seen him drive in the car) who stole my car and that he was still driving it and they didn't care. After the visit at the police station I understood it was my own problem so I took matters in my own hands and got the car back

Nicely done, sometimes you have to take things into your own hands. And where did you get the clues from? I mean how did you find his name out and stuff?

I live in DK small country with 5,5 mill inhabitants And when I go in Sherlock Holmes mode nothing can hide from me LOL. Nahhh I called everyone I know and asked them to call everybody they knew. Called a taxi driver I know and got him to say it over the radio to all taxies, I also called a Courier who also let all his colleagues know over the radio + the parking guards from Parking Copenhagen and of course the useless police. I drove around looking for my car in the night(needle in a hay stack) and talked/investigated in the day time. The courier guy I called saw my car in CPH centrum a couple of hours after I contacted him and he actually knew the guy who drove the car from childhood. He hadn't seen the guy for 14-15 years but knew his name was Mikkel and which part of CPH he grew up in. This info was enough for me to track him down but it took alot of time and favours. But I knew if he was dumb enough to drive around in the car in CPH I would get him. So I got very determind and used my donkey stubbardness and elephant will power and got my sweetheart back. As you may feel on my story im actually proud I got it back I dont think many stolen cars return to owners in DK because people report it to the police and give up. I was willing to do allmost everything to get that car back I loved it and had worked hard to get it + it was very special model im a BMW fanatic and I can tell it was a shiny pearl Now she has been raped and I don't know wether im gonna fix and keep or fix and sell and find anoher pearl. Thanks for showing interest.
