hi all,
i started off today with my NDB of $25 and now have $66.54 plus 23 party points,
i played a DoN at $6 i won but that stake was too high, i think the rake what they took was a bit high too $1, so in the end i only won $4 profit for 45 min work, now that is bad, so i tryed omaha high and low went on with $10, and i know bad bankroll management, buts its very hard to go bust on this type of game if you know how to play it, which i do so that helped , i ended coming of the table with just under $35 went on to another table of omaha high and low and won a bit more now that i have $66.54,
can players on here who play at party poker give me some advise , what stake should i be play at now plus what other games, i dont like the DoNs there too long plus too much rake, should i stick to what im good at omaha high and low, or try the NL games , i just dont want to waste this money now il be very careful even thou i got this money for free its still alot to me,

Wow, that's very good for the starting day! and u got some good party points I believe... if you find you're good at Om H/L why not stick there and play at the same stakes?... I think I've told u in a previous thread that at small PartyPoker stakes you'll find below than average players... why not try to exploit them? Keep winning there and make some more while clearing your bonus... Omaha games give good rake, which means many points for you...

hmm, if u feel to, it's ok to go a step higher... you say u started with $10 in a cash game if I understood correctly, but u don't mention at which blinds level you played... But remember, bigger stakes means less fish and more better players who are really not very keen to give you their money that easy!!
Anyway, for now you really don't own these money before u clear the bonus, so I guess 3 more days playing the same and getting about 25pp. each day you'll get the desired 100 points to clear your first bonus... wouldn't it be nice to do this for a start?

This is kind of off-topic, but here goes. It's been a long time since I play on Party, and today I receive a mail from them trying to get me back. The thing is they say they will charge 5$/month to inactive accounts?! WTF?! I don't care because I have no money there, but this seems extremely greedy on their side. They already have our money on the cashier, and I have no doubt they do their investments with that moeny (from which we see no interest). Do they REALLY need to charge anything? I'm never going back there, just because of this

Yeh, there's a couple rooms that do this..
Interestingly enough though, I once received this email from Party Poker and then about a month later they CREDITED me $5 in usable funds and also a $20 to be released bonus in my bonus account.. To entice me back..
So who knows, maybe in a bit they give you some money instead

That´s the way to start building your bankroll but 6$ SnG´s seems to be little high for 25$. But now your bankroll is increased and it`s almost good enough to play those SnG´s. Try to settle down a bit and play lower buy ins and maybe play those multi tourney(many SnG`s at the same time) .
Wow Beth, good playing! The right thing to do is play cash or tourneys where you never have more than 10% of your bankroll in play at one time. However, from personal experience thats easier said than done! The best advise I could give you is when you eventually do hit a downturn don't chase your losses, thats the undoing of most talented poker players!!

well it's hard to explain but i have no luck at party p on 0.05-0.10$ tables, but I rock at 0.10-0.25$ tables... And I think I never won a thing at first tables, but doing really good on others. strange
