Wow! It's the first time i've heard of this, and i think its really great! Imagine having a "bite-sized" version of the event in Vegas.
It's really one of the advantages brought upon by the advent of internet. Now everyone can practically have that WSOP experience without ever leaving the comfort of their bed.
Of course, nothing still beats the real thing, but some of us are willing to make do w/ the 2nd closes thing!

Yes, they are nice. Haven't played any though, as they are far off my bankroll. This is not the first time, I think they have been doing these for quite some time now.
Just to do something unusual, our government has forbidden to play on this room because it hasn't yet released a suited version for italian players where, of course, financial administration can take taxes on your earnings....

Mini series compared to real wsop? Now, do you honestly think it feels at least remotely alike? The prize pool could be a hundred million, wouldn't matter.

It's really cool that the MSOP lasts as long as the real thing and has all the events of the WSOP in 1/100th of the buy-in, along with very nice cash prizes. Of course it can't be compared to the Vegas event, but it's good and keeps you in the buzz... Last night some 12,000 people played for the event #1 and the winner took home $9,500... Not bad at all
