Hey Admins!
I was just wondering what you think about us asking Party Poker to slightly change the tournament structure for the freeroll on the 6th. Personally i think it's going to be a donk fest due to the high speed blinds and low stacks. It would be really nice if we could ask Party to make it a deeper stacked tourny with at least 15 min blinds.
How would you suppose we go about this? I could email Party myself, i deposit alot of money on party and i hope they will listen to me. Or you admins could do it as the agreement and conditions is between yourselves.
Anyways what do you think? This tourny is a once in a lifetime oppertunity for everyone playing i am sure. Would be terrible to think of it as being a 1 hour donk fest with people shoving all the time and no real skill involved. I think the person to win it should at least be a decent player and not someone who has just got completely lucky. Remember this is the WSOP we are playing for, i would hate to think of someone getting that oppertunity and then going out on the first hand.

I am tottaly agree with you Beanz but I don't know how is the procedure to request that at partypoker and who must do this. I propose to make a pool here,the guys who play at this to vote and the results to be sent to partypoker...what do you think? I play today at the 40 players freeroll and hope to qualify Does someone know if the registration is made automatically or i must register manually? The lobby is there, 0 players registered,register open but i can't register ty for the help

I like the structure...I want a donkfest..i say bring in the anties at level 1 (BTW changing the 10min to 15 wont make a diffrence, you would have to change the levels ie have more)

Yes it's better like that you say,and will be great to ask them for other 19 prizes to get money in value of tourneys you winn and if you want you play that tourney if not you keep the money.

I'm guessing that since this is a party promotion they must have a reason for making a speed tourney. But then I'm thinking it would be in the interest of party and brm to make the tourney longer and deeper.
The longer and more deep-stacked the tourney the more likely players are to double table. The better the standard of players, the longer the winner is likely to last in the wsop and thus more sponsor-time for party. BRM will also benefit from a player going as far as possible. A fairer tourney, I should imagine will be met by great approval by brm members and encourage them to participate in new promotions.

I agree with you on the extended levels but the levels are the same for all party tournys, i can't imagine they would change that structure to be honest. So the only way to tone it down would be to ask for longer levels.

i withdraw a lot, will they listen to me lol , great idea seems it is such a big prize and party have nothing to gain or loose from doing this, cant imagine they will though

Yes it's doubtful. I just sent them an email asking if they would consider based on a few important factors. They are usually quite quick at replying so i will update you guys when i find out.
Actually the last request i asked of Party poker i was sure they would decline, but, they agreed to my amazement.

It's not just my request, it's an idea that many of the participants seems to agree to and can only lead to good results in the actual WSOP outcome. This will benefit everyone i'm sure

Yeah that's a good idea! I agree 20 is far too long. The WSOP will be over by the time we finish lol

I can't see any mention of chips starting stack in the tournament lobby. How do you know that the tourney is not deep enough, when you can't know what the stack will be?
