Now I never claimed to be a super poker player, but I think I could get by win a little here win a little there (break even type of guy) but happy. Then Rush Poker come in to the lights……… at first I hated it, but then I gave it another go and found it was better once I had a little strategy behind me. Now its gone sour and I cant get back into my normal hold'em game!...... I just cant seem to click with the game any more. I went over to Omaha Hi for a long time and now NL Hold'em just doesn’t seem to give me the buzz it used to. I cant seem to get a decent run on SnGs or tourneys…

Any advice?
My advice is not to play on fulltilt for a while; if you have other account return playing on them and step by step you will be in the game again.
Something similar happened to me: rushpoker was giving me a bit of addiction; I liked it a lot but couldn't play any other kind of game. Now I'm not playing on tilt anymore (I would be tempted to play rush) and everything it's ok back with my game

Just started playing Rush Poker myself and think I'm heading towards where your at. In my case Rush Poker has made me too tight. On the other hand....if you play really tight on low-limit Rush Poker it's really easy money (provided you have good BM - wish that was me!). I've found that playing only freerolls for a couple of days usually gets me out of the Rush-Poker-Mindset. Also changing rooms. Won't be long 'till more rooms will offer Rush Poker I think (?), but until then just staying away from FT or just play freerolls for a while would do the trick.

I think that Rush Poker is invented by FT and others don't have the right to have that game. Or am i wrong?

SWITCHING sites would br one suggestion. Try some low stake or freerolls until ypu feel right again. worst thing to do would be to continue on in the frame of mind you are in now.. hope this helps

I agree with some of the posts above, find anouther site, im the same I cant play FT anymore without jumping on the rush tables, but always have more than 1 site on the go. But rush has some great points, it gives lots of FT points, makes the academy challanges easy, so lots of academy points too and makes bonuses easy to clear, i still like it, but as said I cant play FT without playing rush.

A lot of good advice! I had the same thing. Rush comes with a lot of variance, but is adictive IMO. I played it a few days to get points for a promotion, and had to "force" myself to stay away from it. It was also screwing up my other games, and I completely lost my bearings. It took a few days , a week, to find my way again in tourneys or S&G's. I signed up for the Party Bonus then, and that got me off Full Tilt for a while and back to tourneys and S&G's.
Strange, addictive game...Rush Poker.... I played 1 Rush Tournament in the meantime, and it was fun, but again, screws up your regular play Big Time!

I wouldn't say Rush Poker per se is a game killer, but (for me at least) the added action may turn your game a bit aggressive on the bad side .. and you end up losing money fast
