Well I like rush poker a bit, you canwin a lot there but also loose a lot. Anyway today I did a rush sit n go, was my first ever and always wanted to try this. 4.4 buy-in, 135 people, ended fourth cashing 55 dollars, could have been more but they were playing crazy there, recieved one big bad beat when I had the stacklead, guy was pushing more or less 1/4 hands preflop. Had AK in bigblind and I call, he had 10J and his j, after lost to the same guy when I had less then 3BB with my pocket sevens against A3 preflop, it's the game, if I don't loose this pots he's out already a long time me cashing at least 25 more, but anyway I was quite hapy about the result.

I litle bit offtopic: a question to a rush-poker pros. Am I right when I think that the Rush tournaments are the place forextremely tight play? Where nothing but nuts can win... or are there some more weird strategies, where one can enlarge a stack by stealing chips from such diletant's like me making a big raise on a trash-hand?

I agree, i too experienced having my game shaken up by Rush Poker. It's true, it has its own strategy, and you need to adjust your play when yo switch to normal tournament or cash game poker. My best advise would be to isolate how you usually play in "NORMAL" poker and how you do in "RUSH" poker. That worked for me. I have my own set of play rules in RUSH than I do in my normal games. Try also to not play RUSH and NORMAL poker at the same time.

Oooops! This really bothers me... I just got an offer for a bonus at Full Tilt. Havn't played there for a while, so I thought of taking it and trying this rush poker thing out.
I don't expect to like it, or be good at it, but I just wanted to see what it was all about.

Hello everybody! But the "rush poker" is very interesting for fulltilt. And yes I will remember a fact but a much faster game gives a lot more rake collected lol! See you soon for new posts lol!
Rush Poker is like a poker players heroin. Once u start playing it for a little while, it becomes increasingly hard to play regular tables effectively. Before u realize it, your "A" game's gone to s**t and your bankroll's nosediving because of the variance that is inherent with Rush Poker.

i can understand what u r going through , last few months i been playing very less and most of the time i been playing headsup. recently i again started playing full ring when i got some time and i noticed i was frequently missing track of few players involved in hand at times when i caught a player bluffing and it did cost me few pots.

I just tried rush poker for the first time, and that sure was... a rush.
I only played 10 $ BI, since I wasn't sure what to expect.
I kinda liked it, until I got QQ, got raised big, he bet the flop, only low cards (with another caller aswell). Bet pot on the turn, and I sure wished that I would have had some sort of read on him. Felt like AA or KK, so I folded. But it would have felt better if I had had some sort of idea of what kind of player it was. Maybe it was wrong to fold, but I had a little profit, and was going to close it down, so I wanted to stay in the black.
