I hate chip thieves, my friends always do that when he play for fun, he laugh and stuff, bcuz it's not important, but that guy is really a prick, how can he blow his cash for some chips and think nobody will notice it?
That's indeed a very stupid action, you know you'll get caught by doing such things as the WSOP's playing room is very well secured in different ways...
He no doubt deserved to be ban but he also deserve a from the victim player

I didnt think someone would be desperate enough to do that, i mean is it worth the risk and the corresponding penalty to get a few more chips. It doesn't even guarantee that you'd win. at best it mayjust get you to the final table.!?! What the fudge!

I've played against chip thieves before. Before I stated playing online in I used to play in pub leagues and every now and again someone would be banned for life for stealing chips. Normally once you suspected someone, you'd secretly "set them up" everyone on the table would count their stacks before the break and re-count afterwards. And you'd have a group consensus rather than one persons word against another (its trickier to prove without security cameras). It was really dumb, cause the prizes weren't major, it was basically just for a good night out and then these people couldn't play anymore.
