Just got badly beaten  0
I just got fu**ing badly beaten on final table! Now I´m little bit pissed eventhough I won about 100€. I could have reached to the 1st place (price: 580€ Blink if hadn´t got beaten by a donk who played every hand... Just want to share this awful fealing with you mobbers Worship

I went preflop all in with my AK and he/she had K9s hearts. Flop comes : 3h Ah 2h
Turn: 6s River:4d... I´m banging my head towards the table damn. Sometimes you just have to swalllow these beats but god dammit that pot would have done good to my bankroll Thumbs Up

well, this sucks badly, but at least the donk shoved with something playable...
either way if you see someone aggressive like this calling with everything, it's very probable that he'll call your all-in... these guys rely much on luckily cracking other people's top hands and then double-up

lol, nah man. If you're getting 100E for 10th then from there it goes up pretty rapid.

a couple months ago i played a $15, 360 runner, $2.5K added tourney on PKR (total prize pool was about $7k) and after 5-6hours I reached final table as chip leader, top prize was about $2.2k and I ended up busting in 10th, I had AK, board was Ak5 rainbow and I ran into KK and that was basically it, had a few chips left. Won about $150 or something, but i was spewing, play for 6hours and the prize money was just starting to get good. You reach a FT last thing you wanna do is bust in 10th, doesnt matter what the prize money is, you always really close to MUCH MUCH better money

I played the Poker770 new depositorsfreeroll the other day. There's 7700 $ in prices, and even the low ones are pretty decent, like 104 bucks I think I was close to. I picked up AA and managed to get AQ of spades all in. Flop comes with one spade. Now I'm like a 94 % winner and a 104 $, AT LEAST, is all mine.

Another spade.

Another spade.

Almost another poker-related suicide...

I sympathize with the thread owner. Sadly, that's part of the risks in poker. It's a double edged sword really. This time he got you, but in the long run, players like that are the ones that would increase your chip size (and there fore your money, in cash games at least).

Maybe it would be good if someone can come up with a very effective algorithm against donkeys or call stations. I mean, we all know that we should take them to value town, but there may be more to it than that.

It was unlucky, but not really a bad beat.
AK still needs help on the flop to beat any pair.
AA vs 84o, and then 2 more 4's on the board, THAT's a bad beat.
That's how I got kicked yesterday from a tourney just befor the bubble.
Happens all the time unfortunately, and will always happen as long as you need to go all-in.

@NazPal:
I agree, there has got to be more to it than that.... Blink

Doesn't mean you can't be pissed and vent here.
It sure hurts that final table and getting busted early with good cards. Aww crap!
