they could surprise argentina: they have a good game organization beside high speed and stamina. of course argentina is a lot better than korea but i saw some defensive distractions in last game against nigeria that could be painful if repeated

no its fenomenal start but hope they will end it in 3-rd place all teams in the world now can play in the same way so the wc cup become more boring then over euro or wc cup before becouse team no not playing hard they just want collect points

Your funny and your right. Sincde the biggest upset of football history that was greece wining eurocup 2004, they have done nothing. they are a bad team with a smart coach. they got lucky 1 time in a million and thats it.

As i said before, South Korea is not a match for argentina. Argentina played very well today. With better defense argetnina can be with spain the most dangerous team in the world cup.
congratulations to argentina they could have shot 2 more goals....it was a terrible game for us (I'm korean) our moronic head coach made some great tactical mistakes..and it still hurts lol

Well, now that the dust has settled, I can say that Greece did a decent overall performance in this World Cup, although we didn't manage to get to the 2nd phase. This was because of the very very bad playing of our players in the very first match with Korea. This alone cost us the ticket to the next round... we played very well against Nigeria and got the most out of Kaita's silly red card, and that's what every smart team should do. The last match was against Argentina, so there was not much any team could do...
@stojaca: I hope your team wins Australia today and gets to the next round. I betted for it!.. after all, greeks and serbians are neighbours and have a lot in common...
@kinogomes: It seems to me my friend that you are very influenced by our matches in the Euro 2004 where Greece beat Portugal twice... maybe with a pinch of luck and smart defensive play, but when something happens twice in a row, I believe you should give it some credit as everyone else in Europe did then... NOBODY said that Greece has phenomenal players as Cristian Ronaldo or the strong football roots of Portugal (this is just our second time in a World Cup, and against Nigeria we actually scored for the first time ever)... Of course you got a much better overall team than ours, but I think we're on the right track for better results in the time to come... I was in a cafeteria the other day and watched your game, and every greek here cheered and applaused for each one of your 7 goals... I guess we like your offensive style! Good luck to your team in the second round pal!...
